Pros:
* Makes it a VERY handy, compact weapon.
* Precision is very good, recoil slightly reduced because of plastic.
* Adding rails to foregrip lets you install laser sights, flashlights etc quite easily.
* Trigger pull is quite good for a bull-pup (with a little work, read "Cons")
* It's a neat little CQB or plinker gun.

Cons:
* Don't buy if you are a "can't do anything" guy, it requires minor fitting, such as smoothing trigger bar edges, (use sharp cutter, not a file) adding grease to the guide channels, etc. It's not difficult, but you have to know you need to do it.
* Will not work with some high capacity "banana" mags (but you can modify a bit the grip)
* Not for left handers.

I have one of these in a carbine conversion. What a blast. It's a fast, easy conversion, and a lot of fun to shoot. There is a "plus" version also made which features 2 picatinny rails on the hand guard as well as including the top rail for scopes and sights.( http://www.mountsplus.com/miva/merchant.mvc?page=MSP/PROD/24_stocks/MZ-1022-PLUS ) The 'iron sights' on both models are fully adjustable, and stay accurate after being sighted in. It is also very easy to mount an assault style sling on this stock. I've had a lot of fun with mine, and I recommend them to any plinker enthusiast or to anyone who's just getting tired of the plain walnut stock.

10/22 carbine version of the rifle or just the rifle version? i was disappointed when i could not buy the mg 42 dress up kit, so i switched to thisbecause i own the carbine version
