This is my 8 year old son's favorite game. We enjoy racing against each other. Good variation in tracks and courses to play on. The soundtrack isn't bad. However, the graphics are very poor, especially considering this is on a PlayStation 3. The bystanders and background enviroments are extremely grainy and pixelated. Being a new game on the PS3, I had much higher expectations.

This is another game by RainBow Studios, who mastered the art of MX games with realistic physics. The graphics in this game are horrible, even on the PS3. On some tracks, when all the riders are grouped together, the game actually chokes and looks sluggish and choppy. My biggest complain about this game is it's arcade - type style. It feels like you are riding / racing on the moon, with no gravity. Long gone are the realistic feelings of launching a 200lb motorcycle off a jump. Now we have a spongy feeling dirt bike which does not behave like the bikes in previous games, like MX Unleashed.

The game is fun, but at this point in time, they seem to have added a lot of fluff like trucks, cars, etc, and seem to drop the ball for those of us who want a competitive Motorcycle / ATV Simulation game.

Other than Pure, this is the only true MX game out there. I just purchased the PS3. I had this game for the PS2 and this version is better(more content and improved graphics). Being new to the PS3, almost any game on the PS3 looks good to me. I would probably rate this game a 3 star, but like I said, it is the only MX game for PS3. The controls are a bit loose for me as I like tight controls on racing games. But I'm having fun which is the most important thing and there is a lot of content in this game. If you enjoy creating your own bike/rider with different graphics, you should like that aspect of the game.

With Untamed, the formula for the MX vs. ATV series hasn't changed much, and the game is at its best when focused on freewheeling, pedal-to-the-metal speed. There are moments of abject frustration--think of the most tedious of the supercross events and practically any freestyle contest--but that frustration is mitigated somewhat by the fact that there's always something else to do in the game. Sure, it's more of the same with MX vs. ATV Untamed, but at least it's a lot more.

If you love racing fourwheelers or dirt bikes you'll LOVVVVE this game!! I got this in the mail and I couldn't stop playing it. It is an absolute blast!!! The tracks make you feel like you are actually on the machine racing. Sound is excellent and the picture quality is good too. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves atvs!!

Rainbow Studio's Mx Vs ATV series has never been about simulation-style racing. If that is what you are looking for here, you are out of luck and will be disapointed. The graphics are not the best buy the gameplay is solid. Controls work well and the fun-level is through the roof. If I had to pick some things to complain about in the gameplay it is the fact that Rainbow added "realism" to the game when it comes to the motorcycles. No longer can you make the huge jump and then stick the landing. 99% of the time you will crash and burn. Yet I can still land jumps with my bars turned and only holding on with one hand. Doesn't make sense, this series has always been about arcade-style racing. Also, the track boundries are questionable at best. In one part of a track if you leave the boundry you reset, yet in other portions you can glitch through no problem. It should be uniform.

Either way, this game is fun to play either alone or with friends. If you want a realistic racer I suggest you wait for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue or buy Dirt. MotorStorm is another decent option to pick up. If you are still unsure download the Mx Vs ATV demo via PlayStation Network Store or rent Mx Vs ATV first.

This game is in very nice condition. There were no scratches and no mal functions when playing the game. This game also has nice music to choose from and if you don't like the song you can turn it off, rather than having to turn the volume down. The only thing that I did not like about it was the choices of what you can do with the game. It gives you a limited amount of of options for tracks, and bikes. But other than that, the quality was nice.

Graphics are terriible considering this is a blu ray platform. Controller performance is horrible. I think this game could have been much better if it had been made for the customer instead of just his money. THQ and Rainbow Studios should be ashamed on the lack of effort on this game. I think they put more work into the intro than game play. Shame,Shame!!

This game is not out in New Zealand yet, thought I would get the jump on the rest of the PS3 owners here, excellent game, I do race myself and the techniques, body position etc are all relative to racing a dirt bike, this is an excellent game and I can't wait to see what comes out in the future, in my opinion the game designers have a winner, 10/10.

This game I was looking so forward to. I thought the PS2 was pretty cool. The graffics for this PS3 game is the worst I have seen yet. What a huge dissappointment. Thats why we have high def, make things look more real. WIsh I had rented it first. I played it for about 30 min total. Control feel sucked. In one word to describe this game ......Junk.
