"Ok, I'm finally going to take a little break from this series...BUT only because I can no longer get them on my Kindle! I hope Amazon gets this problem settled so I can get back into reading this great series!"
"I was a bit curious about his book and wanted to read it before the movie came out. I guess I don't know what to say other than it was just ok. I really should stop reading books for younger readers because, for me, Harry Potter has just set the bar way too high so everything else just seems to disappoint."
"My all time favorite book quote can be found in this book... "I collected all the loose change in the bottom of my bag, and I got two pieces of chocolate. If you buy chocolate with loose change the calories don't count. And anyway, one of the pieces was a raspberry truffle, so it was fruit. And fruit is healthy, right?" A girl after my own heart!"
"The 11th in the Plum series took a slight turn for me. I still liked it and am anxious to continue reading the series but I have to say this is probably my least favorite so far. Pretty good having gone through eleven in a series before finding disappointment though!"
"I'm a huge fan of Jodi Picoult but I was a bit disappointed by this novel. It had too many similarities to "My Sister's Keeper" (which, BTW, is one of my all time favorite books) and I was hoping so much for something new and fresh. That said, she's still brilliant with her words and educated on the topics that she writes about."
"I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series for the fourth time in preparation for an upcoming Universal Studios vacation and for the release of the first part of the final movie later this year. If you haven't yet read this series...DO SO NOW! :)"
"I got this as a Kindle freebie and would have thought it well worth it even if I had bought it. I loved this book! A great story with a little suspense. So interesting to go back in time and learn how things were done in the early 1800's."
"From what I understand this is a blog-turned-book. The author is part of the ambulance crew in London. It's quite interesting the difference between an "emergency" situation in England and here in the US. Interesting read but slightly unfulfilling since the ambulance crew typically doesn't know the patient's end results once handed off to the hospital crew."
"A light, quick read. I liked the story but definitely not a favorite. The ending was, well, just that. One of those books that just kind of leaves you wondering what happened to some of the characters after the last page."
"A summer book club read. My first impression was that I was going to hate the book but once I got passed the first chapter it grew on me. Fast paced romance/farce. If you can get passed the ridiculous characters you will probably really like this book!"
"Knowing that there were actually supposed to be more novels in the series after this one (prior to Larsson's death), I was a little worried that I would be left needing more. I thought the series ended nicely though and feel they should definitely be added to your "must read" list."
"I dove into this book without reading what it was actually about and was surprised as soon as I realized it was about "invisible friends". It struck me as similar to a James Patterson novel I read a while back. Although I didn't love this book, it was a quick, easy read."
"Because the Harry Potter series has been such a highlight in my life, I swore to stop reading childrens/young adult books because they never seem to live up to my expectations. But, for some reason, I keep reading them. Needless to say, this book was just ok for me. The narration was clever but I found my attention drifting from time to time."
"I found this book incredibly boring and poorly written. You would think a story about a teenager dying would tug at your heart strings a bit but I felt absolutely no emotion (other than boredom) while reading this book. What a bummer."
"I liked this novel and I couldn't wait to start piecing everything together towards the end. But then, it just ended and left me very confused! What the heck happened to Joseph? Maybe you can figure it out!"
"The more I read, the more I like this book. I was creating the ending in my mind before I even got there and it was really exciting. Except, it didn't end at all the way I thought it would. In fact, it just ended. The whole story built up to one event that never actually took place in the book. You just have to use your imagination to end this one."
"I was torn on this one because I didn't like the concept but it was extremely well written and kept me wanting to go back for more. I will definitely continue reading the series despite my initial misgivings."
