Four to Score (Stephanie Plum, No. 4) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"I actually read the 10th book in this series first and found it so entertaining that I decided to start from the beginning.  I'm now on book four and loving the Stephanie Plum series!"
The Angel Experiment: A Maximum Ride Novel (Book 1)
The Angel Experiment: A Maximum Ride Novel (Book 1)
"I have read a lot of James Patterson's adult novels and loved them but I'm just not diggin' him as a Young Adult author.  Not a horrible book but I just wasn't too impressed with it either."
High Five (Stephanie Plum, No. 5) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
High Five (Stephanie Plum, No. 5) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"Another great Stephanie Plum novel!"

"An enjoyable, light, quick read!"
Hot Six (Stephanie Plum, No. 6) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
Hot Six (Stephanie Plum, No. 6) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"Did not disappoint!  I can't hardly get myself to read anything else I just want to keep going with this series."
Seven Up (Stephanie Plum, No. 7) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
Seven Up (Stephanie Plum, No. 7) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"I got to the last page of this book and just had to immediately start the eighth in the series.  It's THAT good!"
Hard Eight (Stephanie Plum, No. 8) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
Hard Eight (Stephanie Plum, No. 8) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"Ok, I'm finally going to take a little break from this series...BUT only because I can no longer get them on my Kindle!  I hope Amazon gets this problem settled so I can get back into reading this great series!"
The Lightning Thief (Movie Tie-in Edition) (Percy Jackson and the Olympians)
The Lightning Thief (Movie Tie-in Edition) (Percy Jackson and the Olympians)
"I was a bit curious about his book and wanted to read it before the movie came out.  I guess I don't know what to say other than it was just ok.  I really should stop reading books for younger readers because, for me, Harry Potter has just set the bar way too high so everything else just seems to disappoint."
To the Nines: A Stephanie Plum Novel
To the Nines: A Stephanie Plum Novel
"Ok, so that was a very little break from this series because I'm back at it and still loving it!"
Ten Big Ones (Stephanie Plum, No. 10) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
Ten Big Ones (Stephanie Plum, No. 10) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"My all time favorite book quote can be found in this book... "I collected all the loose change in the bottom of my bag, and I got two pieces of chocolate.  If you buy chocolate with loose change the calories don't count.  And anyway, one of the pieces was a raspberry truffle, so it was fruit.  And fruit is healthy, right?" A girl after my own heart!"
Eleven on Top (Stephanie Plum Novels)
Eleven on Top (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"The 11th in the Plum series took a slight turn for me.  I still liked it and am anxious to continue reading the series but I have to say this is probably my least favorite so far.  Pretty good having gone through eleven in a series before finding disappointment though!"
Twelve Sharp (Stephanie Plum, No. 12) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
Twelve Sharp (Stephanie Plum, No. 12) (Stephanie Plum Novels)
"I'm still going strong with the Stephanie Plum series.  I feel like fresh ideas are running out but it's still an entertaining read."
Lean Mean Thirteen: A Stephanie Plum Novel

"Another quick read!"
A Reliable Wife
A Reliable Wife
"A book club selection that was surprisingly good!"
Handle with Care: A Novel
Handle with Care: A Novel
"I'm a huge fan of Jodi Picoult but I was a bit disappointed by this novel.  It had too many similarities to "My Sister's Keeper" (which, BTW, is one of my all time favorite books) and I was hoping so much for something new and fresh.  That said, she's still brilliant with her words and educated on the topics that she writes about."
Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Book 1
Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Book 1
"Cute book.  I'm surprised it was movie material but it's been a long time since I was in middle school so what do I know?"
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
"I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series for the fourth time in preparation for an upcoming Universal Studios vacation and for the release of the first part of the final movie later this year.  If you haven't yet read this series...DO SO NOW!  :)"
All the Living: A Novel
All the Living: A Novel
"This was a book club selection that I really had no expectations for but was pleasantly surprised when I started reading it.  It held my interest and I thought it was quite good!"
The Apothecary's Daughter
The Apothecary's Daughter
"I got this as a Kindle freebie and would have thought it well worth it even if I had bought it.  I loved this book!  A great story with a little suspense.  So interesting to go back in time and learn how things were done in the early 1800's."
The Tricking of Freya
The Tricking of Freya
"Wow, fantastic book!  Great story line with interesting Icelandic culture.  In my opinion, a must read!"
The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Law of Attraction (Idiot's Guides)
The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Law of Attraction (Idiot's Guides)
"Good basics on the Law of Attraction.  I found "The Secret" a more enjoyable read though."
More Blood, More Sweat and Another Cup of Tea
More Blood, More Sweat and Another Cup of Tea
"From what I understand this is a blog-turned-book.  The author is part of the ambulance crew in London.  It's quite interesting the difference between an "emergency" situation in England and here in the US.  Interesting read but slightly unfulfilling since the ambulance crew typically doesn't know the patient's end results once handed off to the hospital crew."
The Book of Bright Ideas: A Novel
The Book of Bright Ideas: A Novel
"A light, quick read.  I liked the story but definitely not a favorite.  The ending was, well, just that.  One of those books that just kind of leaves you wondering what happened to some of the characters after the last page."
Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets
Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets
"My fourth time reading this series!  I'm just brushing up to get ready for part one of the seventh movie coming out late this year.  Love this series!"
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium Series)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium Series)
"Despite all the hype, I put off reading this book.  Now I'm glad that I finally read it and am looking forward to reading the next two in the series!"
Valeria's Last Stand: A Novel
Valeria's Last Stand: A Novel
"A summer book club read.  My first impression was that I was going to hate the book but once I got passed the first chapter it grew on me.  Fast paced romance/farce.  If you can get passed the ridiculous characters you will probably really like this book!"
The Girl Who Played with Fire (Millennium Series)
The Girl Who Played with Fire (Millennium Series)
"A great 2nd novel in the Larsson series!  Kept me on edge, dying to know who did what!  Long though, longest book I've read on my Kindle yet.  Don't let that stop you though, it's an excellent read."
Stuffed: Adventures of a Restaurant Family
Stuffed: Adventures of a Restaurant Family
"An easy to read, heartwarming story of the life of a restaurant family.  I love to take a mini break from fiction after reading a few novels and this one filled my need for a true story."
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (Millennium Trilogy)
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (Millennium Trilogy)
"Knowing that there were actually supposed to be more novels in the series after this one (prior to Larsson's death), I was a little worried that I would be left needing more.  I thought the series ended nicely though and feel they should definitely be added to your "must read" list."
If You Could See Me Now
If You Could See Me Now
"I dove into this book without reading what it was actually about and was surprised as soon as I realized it was about "invisible friends".  It struck me as similar to a James Patterson novel I read a while back.  Although I didn't love this book, it was a quick, easy read."
The Name of this Book Is Secret (The Secret Series)
The Name of this Book Is Secret (The Secret Series)
"Because the Harry Potter series has been such a highlight in my life, I swore to stop reading childrens/young adult books because they never seem to live up to my expectations.  But, for some reason, I keep reading them.  Needless to say, this book was just ok for me.  The narration was clever but I found my attention drifting from time to time."
Cut, Crop & Die (A Kiki Lowenstein Scrap-N-Craft Mystery)
Cut, Crop & Die (A Kiki Lowenstein Scrap-N-Craft Mystery)
"Kind of out there in terms of believability but it was still a fun follow up to Paper, Scissors, Death."
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
"Just as good the 4th time around!"
Deadline
Deadline
"I found this book incredibly boring and poorly written.  You would think a story about a teenager dying would tug at your heart strings a bit but I felt absolutely no emotion (other than boredom) while reading this book.  What a bummer."
The Day the Falls Stood Still
The Day the Falls Stood Still
"Beautifully written, not-too-mushy love story with not-too-boring history included!  Awesome!  Kuddos to my local book store owner for picking this as a book club selection!"
The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake: A Novel
The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake: A Novel
"I liked this novel and I couldn't wait to start piecing everything together towards the end.  But then, it just ended and left me very confused!  What the heck happened to Joseph?  Maybe you can figure it out!"
31 Hours
31 Hours
"The more I read, the more I like this book.  I was creating the ending in my mind before I even got there and it was really exciting.  Except, it didn't end at all the way I thought it would.  In fact, it just ended.  The whole story built up to one event that never actually took place in the book.  You just have to use your imagination to end this one."
Stalking Susan
Stalking Susan
"The story moved along nicely and, being from Minnesota, it was especially fun to read this MN murder mystery.  Great read!"
The Hunger Games (Book 1)
The Hunger Games (Book 1)
"I was torn on this one because I didn't like the concept but it was extremely well written and kept me wanting to go back for more.  I will definitely continue reading the series despite my initial misgivings."
Mini Shopaholic (Shopaholic, Book 6)
Mini Shopaholic (Shopaholic, Book 6)
"After reading this book, I feel that it's time for the Shopaholic series to come to an end.  The first couple were witty but I found this most recent one to be quite boring."
