Did not learn 1 new piece of information with these lessons. Complete waste of money. I pay a university to provide a professor to teach lessons not a worthless online POS that was a waste of my time and effort that ultimately left me at the same place I began. Horrible software that when completing an exam would not save any of my answers forcing me to redo all the questions over. Not a fan.

The book is easy to understand enough, but the online program Myaccounting lab is just plain bad. I can get the final answer of the question, but struggle to fill in the middle parts in ways which the programs like it. They are designed in a very convoluted way. Run away from the online program as fast as your legs can carry you.

I rated the item with 4 stars because it provided the service for which it was intended. I did not give it 5 stars because when the product arrived the cellophane wrapper had already been opened, yet the sticker stating no returns if opened was still intact. This posed a problem when the instructor changed the required lab; I could not return this product and exchange it for a new lab, luckily I was able to use the previously purchased lab. Tried to contact the seller to resolve this issue but all correspondence went unanswered.

I was unable to use because my instructor did not have an access code and I could not do this as a self study course

I'll admit it was a pain in the rear in the beginning. It marks you wrong if you put the number in the wrong line even if it on the correct side of the T-account. It gives you the impression that you have to spend HOURS on obscure items in order to master the material. BUT if you put forth a lot of effort and do the majority of the study plan for the first three chapters, you can really get the hang of it. For some reason I could not get on my Facebook word games during the semester that I took Accounting 101. So I used MAL instead. Might not be a bad idea if you plan on majoring in accounting. My advice, as an old person who first went to college before the existence of PCs, is to take advantage of the new technology and use it to learn instead of just to get the right answer. :)
