I preordered my CD and received it in the mail today. I quickly put down my groceries and popped it into the CD player. I was not disappointed. His voice is just so amazing and the CD is just so well done. There's such a great selection of songs that I have a hard time finding a favorite. As each one plays I think it's my favorite and then I think it's the next one and so on. He has such power in his high notes and such tenderness in the soft ones. I challenge anyone to listen to this without tears or goosebumps.

I will defintely be playing "God Bless America" during the fireworks on the 4th of July. I just imagine fireworks every time I hear it. I love the little video they did with this. I have as yet to hear "Mama" without tears in my eyes. Congratulations Neal! This is beyond my expectations.

Neal's first cd is, hopefully, the first of many. This one finds him in excellent voice. It is a very eclectic collection, from 'God Bless the USA' to 'Nessun Dorma'. It is quintessential Neal, down to the inclusion of the very moving 'Mama'. Personal disclaimer: I was fortunate to play a role in taking Neal to Carnegie Hall as part of our 'Mizzou on Tour' program. I have heard him sing for years and was especially proud of his performance in 'Corps of Discovery', the Lewis and Clark opera which the university commissioned. I was not surprised to see him win 'America's Got Talent' because I've long known that Neal has mega-talent. His voice just seems to get better and better and the young man known to his television audience is the real Neal. He is just this nice, just this talented, just this sensitive and optimistic. All of us wish him well. If you're interested in a collection of superb, but very eclectic pieces, all perfect for Neal's voice, buy this album.

This is an amazing collection of songs, including opera, spiritual, and patriotic. I watched Neal on "America's Got Talent" and was simply amazed by his beautiful voice. His talent is incredible. I remember when he sang "Mama" on "America's Got Talent", and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. This was such a beautiful tribute to his mother, who raised him alone.

I love every song on this CD. It is a real treasure! Not only is this a great CD to own it would make a wonderful gift for friends and family.

What an amazing debut CD! I loved Neal on "America's Got Talent" and he sounds even better here. His song choices are varied and sentimental and he infuses so much emotion in his singing. If you don't tear up at least once while listening to this you have a heart of stone. "Nessun Dorma" and "Ave Maria" are so beautiful!

I followed this tremendously talented operatic tenor on "America"s Got Talent" and was thrilled when he won. I have been anxiously waiting a CD. I was not disappointed. He still gives me goosebumps when he sings. This CD is a nice collection of opera classics and more current music. Not so haughty that anyone would be turned off. I'm not crazy about opera but Neil sings with heart and passion. I like that.

While there has honestly been so much hype among the winners from the reality shows American Idol & America's Got Talent, there have been very few artists that actually have hit that nail on the head. With all the recent hype going on from Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle, and American Idol former winners Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks with their songs, there just hasn't been many contendors that have felt like a breath of fresh air, or brought out something that felt like it drew you in heart and soul. But, with all the hype of the upcoming season of America's Got Talent and with what to expect from the hopeful talent, last year's victor Neal E. Boyd, whom drew everybody in with his operatic tones, has finally broke out with his debut record, and it really feels like it is divine.

Neal E. Boyd's debut album My American Dream is honestly one of the biggest surprises in music this year. The capture from his stunning win last year, really does draw you into the voice, that sounds strong, and captures the essence of a strong intimate mood. The collection of songs range from musical standards like Somewhere from West Side Story, and Ava Maria, to operatic standards like Il Gladiatore and Nessun Dorma which he performed as he won last year's America's Got Talent on the finale, to songs like Is Nothing Sacred and the somber Brings Him Home. The mood on the album has remained simple, soulful and just a strong reflection from Neal's passioned voice.

All in all, I am deeply impressed with Neal E. Boyd's My American Dream. It really is a beatuiful record, and I do hope that you get to hear this beautiful melodic album, and just let it take your breath away. All in all, if you have missed him from last year's America's Got Talent, shame on you. If you are hard core fan of opera and pop standards, than give Neal E. Boyd's My American Dream, a strong listen. I absolutely recommend this surprising gem.

We had the pleasure of meeting Neal Boyd at one of our local resturants down here where we live. He told us of his newly release cd, that was not available at this time. It came out 18 days after our meeting. When got home that evening after getting his autograph for the Misses, we looked online and preordered his cd. We thoughly enjoy the cd, and meeting him in person, was a great bonus.

Keep up the good work Neal.

Wow, I followed Neal during the 2008 America's Got Talent contest and he was always my top vote. What an amazing voice, its fantastic. Here is someone I intend to follow their career. Hope he can hold up under the pressure but after what it took to get where he is today, I am sure he can. Best of Luck to Neal and we want more CDs.

I got my CD last week after waiting with anticipation for it to release. I watched AGT and rooted for Boyd the whole way. Neal touched my heart like no other person on any talent show. Shows like this really make you feel as if you get to know the artist. Neal seemed like such a genuine person and it shows through his music. I literally would rewind my recording, turn my tv up and relisten to his songs from the show. Now I have his CD and can listen over and over.

This CD is awesome! What great expression in his singing and heartfelt music that touches your heart and makes you feel so relaxed and at peace. I cried on the first song. God Bless The USA always seems to bring tears to my eyes and Neal certainly sings it with such strong emotion. I feel all of his songs were sung with such emotion in them and make you feel so uplifted. Nessun Dorma just put chills on me and I find myself wishing it was a longer song. Watching him sing Mama on AGT really touched me and was so happy it is on the CD. It is beautiful.

I listen to several different styles of music, not just opra. I don't really 'buy' many CD's because listening to the same artist on a CD can tend to be monotonous at times. But this is a CD I am proud to add to my collection and would recommend it to anyone. I truly feel you won't be disappointed and the reviews with the one stars.....I just don't even begin to understand some of the negative comments. I wish Neal much success! I will be a follower for sure.

The songs on this cd are ones that have a great deal of meaning to Neal and you can feel the emotion he puts into each and every one. I've listened to this cd so many times that I have just about worn it out. It gives me goosebumps and tears each and every time. I 've known Neal for several years and he is such a genuine and loving person. You can feel this love in his songs and his beautiful voice. This cd was well worth waiting for and being a native Sikestonian, I couldn't be prouder of him. Keep 'em coming Neal - God Bless.
