Mr. Harris is a deeply religious man and was an officer on board the USS Pueblo when it was brutally and illegally siezed by the North Koreans on the high seas. It is his story that his strong religious beliefs helped him through the terrible ordeal of captivity from the animalistic KorComs. It is a rather short book, but is good for those who need confirmation that religious beliefs help in every situation. Those who do not subscribe to this theory will have a tough time getting through the religious parts, but it is a great second viewpoint from someone who lived through what had to have been an impossible situation. Humorous in places, it's an easy read, but tough to swallow for the non-believing type.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who was born after the year 1970. I am the daughter of LCDR Stephen R. Harris, who was aboard the USS Pueblo, in 1968. I feel that people really need to know more about this incident, as I also need to learn more myself. We need not repeat our mistakes in history! Please email me with your opinions at: gratefulredd@yahoo.com Thank You! Christiana L. Jones

This was a very upbeat version of the events. It was very clear and religious of the opinion of what happened for a person and officer who went through the events as they occurred through his perspective.
