My Baby Know-it-All - Animals & ABC's

My daughter is almost 14 months and received this DVD for her 1st birthday. She LOVES it. She really, really loves it. She likes to watch it, other times she likes to have it on in the background. She's not interested in Barney or watching cartoons at all. She likes that she recognizes the letters (from mommy singing the ABC's) and the animals she has seen at the petting zoo. We watch it together and I can tell she has picked up some things from this DVD.

The thing I'd like to mention too, is that the music and timing of the shots are something a toddler can really swallow, instead of all those fast-paced, neon, commercialized hyper shows. Oversimplicity and extreme funny voices don't teach a child all that much. I really liked the impact this video had on our lives, albeit a small one, and I can recommend the money spent on it.

Keep in mind though, it doesn't appear to be "high end". Nevertheless, I think your child will probably like it. ;D

My daughter loves My baby know it all (colors & 123's) she has been watching the video since she was 6 mnths old. She loves watching all the kids in the video. This video is the only thing to calm her down when she was crying. She learned where her eyes, nose and mouth were at 11 mnths old from watching this video. I going to buy her My baby Know it all (animals & ABC's) for christmas.

Finally a video that is as smart as our little ones! I particularly love how the layout of the program is, and my little ones can't get enough of it. Not only is the colors section so thorough, with different examples for each color, and cute rhymes that accompany each one, also, unlike other vids, this video constantly describes what the child is seeing. Something I get tired of doing with other videos. Highly Recommend it, the babies are adorable!!

I teach preschool and am also a mother of two. My little boy is 18 months and a little girl who is 3 and half. Both of my children are captivated by the BABY KNOW IT ALL series. I love the way the video is laid out. Children get so much fun entertainment and are able to learn at the same time. This is a great video that you can trust to let your children watch when you need to take a break. I highly recomend it.

My Daughter loves this video. Both of the Baby Know It all videos get watched more than any other video we own. (And we own them all).

Bayb Know It All has a wonderful approach that keeps my daughter captivated for the entire show.

Having read all the glowing reviews about this series I shelled out quite a bit to buy the videos and get them shipped to me in Australia. I shouldn't have bothered. The programmes are so disjointed and badly put together. (Eg, we hear about one colour, jump to two separate topics, come back to another colour five minutes later, jump to a completely separate topic, etc) The constant talking is SO grating, too. My toddler refuses to watch them and I too find them confusing and annoying. There's a bit of everything but not enough of anything, it's so poorly structured that I can't see how it could teach a child anything (I am an elementary school teacher) and in fact the jumping between topics could be counter-productive instead. A muddled mess.

it was rally great educational dvd for babies from age 1-2 years .. has many songs and sounds my baby like it and keep starting it again once its finished its been useful i wish they have other editions of that..

I have 9 month old boy/girl twins who love this video. While my kids don't watch a lot of TV, when they do, I prefer they watch age appropriate programs. This particular video is rich with color and movement and keeps my kids actively interested, where as other videos they will loose interest with after awhile. I love various teaching methods the video uses - for example, it will show the word "cow" and then show a video of a real cow eating and then ask "what does the cow say?" and then has the cow reply on video and also will have a toddler say "moo", as well as show other representations of that object, like a stuffed toy cow. It teaches many other things too, like colors, concepts (as in "up/down", "boy/girl", "close up/far away"). My kids absolutely LOVE that their are other infants and toddlers in this video. They will smile and laugh when they see them! Each of the child actors has a name on the program that they use to introduce them with and they say goodbye to them one at a time when the video is ending. Another great learning moment! I think this will be a video that will grow with my children, allowing them to learn new things as they are capable. I highly recommend!
