This book is one of the most beautiful baby books that you'll ever find, i'll help you out by writing a review so before you make a purchase you'll have an idea of what the contents are. but believe me, you won't regret buying it :)

There's space for you to write a letter to your baby before his/her arrival and pages for the family tree.

There are 8 sections in the book:

1. "Preparing for you": you write all your feelings from when you first find out you were pregnant, your due date, arrival date, mommy and daddy'd feelings, first time you heard the baby's heartbeat, move and the first time you saw the ultrasound scan, there are pages also where you can write about all the preparations you did for the baby, from buying clothes to decorating the nursery, baby showerand pages for the names you wanted for a girl or a boy.

2. "The new arrival": this section includes pages about the birth a page for mommy's story and a page for daddy's story (which most books never include dad's thoughts), a page for baby's first photo and a page to stick the baby's hospital tag, first visitors, pages for the baby's foot-print and handprint and some blank pages for you to write whatever you like.

3. "Early days": baby's first night at home, first visitors at home, Settling down page which includes hungry times, wakeful times, sleepy time etc. bath-time and bed-time with blank pages to write too.

4. "Growing and changing": this section includes all the "Firts", first time baby focused his eyes, followed an object etc. Weight and height, First teeth (all teeth), visits to the doctor and blank pages.

5. "Mealtimes": first foods, mealtime milestones, his food likes and dislikes, mealtime rituals, his high chair, fave bowl and spoon etc. baby's fave recipes and blank pages.

6. "Trips and outings": his first outings, first vacation, and blank pages.

7. "Celebrations": magical moments during baby's first year, first Christams, first birthday, naming day and blank pages.

8. "your favorite things": baby's fave books, fave shows and videos, fave songs and lullabies etc.

i hope all that would be of good help to you mothers, because before buying this book i would've loved knowing all that's in the book, overall it's the best so far, i bought this book as a gift, but i bought another for my second baby :) and by the way on each section there's an enevelope in which you can keep things in them too, like your hospital tag etc. i recommend this book to all mothers out there :)

We had the hardest time finding a baby journal for our daughter. It seemed like everything we looked at was full of cartoon bunnies and bears. We were so pleased to find this journal. It has beautiful pictures of babies and toys and is layed out very well.

It has sections on preparing for baby, the new arrival, early days, growing and changing, mealtimes, trips and outings, celebrations and favorite things. Each section has a pocket for storing keepsakes and pages for photos. It gives plenty of space to write memories and milestones. We love that we have a place to record all our daughters "firsts" as well as special events, height and weight, visitors, handprints, footprints and more. It also has sections for us to write a letter to her and to record our feelings as we were waiting for her and when she arrived.

This is by far the best baby journal/book we could find. We have recommended it to friends who have been just as pleased with it. This journal has been perfect for us!

This baby journal is a perfect fun and sweet book for your child. It has the extra room for baby's keepsakes, tons of pockets for extra photos and even extra blank pages at the ends of each section for memos, letters or more photos. It's is thick and has a great closure to hold anything in it... you could even put a pair of socks in it! It has all the pages for all the details you and your child will experience.

This is a very pretty baby book. It works great for a boy or girl. It has pouches to store momentoes and a strap on the outside of the book to hold it together if it gets thick. It has some good photography and pretty quotes. I give it a four because it has no place for immunization records and baby teeth information. It does however have some blank pages that could be used for this but I would rather use those for pictures.

This is the most complete journal to have that leaves room for dates, memories of almost every kind of first and precious moment a parent has of their child! It leaves places for pictures, has folders for momentos and is much better than the traditional baby album - I know - I used to work at a Hallmark store ---- this is the best thing to keep track of all your baby's moments - I had to buy another copy for my next child... who knows when that will be? I just wanted to make sure I can have another one to do the same for my next kid.

I had my baby in 2004 and spent a lot of time looking for his baby book. There are so many to choose from but I found the majority of them to be impractical to write in and very commercial, often even tacky.

"My Baby's Journal" has beautiful images of babies and related items in all different pale shades. The images are very peaceful and sweet and don't overtake or interfere with YOUR entries of your baby.

On the ease-of-use factor: It's the best reason to buy this book. It has a spiral spine so the pages open flat and are super comfortable to write in. There is a tab for each section head that is made of a durable type of cardboard with a sleave to include any keepsakes that don't paste on the pages, I put in his sonogram pictures and some greeting cards sent after his birth etc.(don't try to overload them or it will cause a slight tear.)

It includes room to write as much as your heart desires and is organized in a logical beautiful way to include mother and father.

I loved this baby book so much I bought it for my niece. No doubt if I have another child I will be purchasing it for a third time!

If you're looking for something unique, practical and that you'll cherish for a lifetime, I highly recommend "My Baby's Journal."

This one was beautifully done, with well-planned sections, pockets to keep trinkets in, and lots of opportunities to jot down your memories. I received quite a few baby books, but this one was by far the nicest. And it's solidly constructed and well bound, so you know it'll stnd up to the wear and tear of the years.

I really like the way this baby journal is set up. It has lots of room for pre and post memories and pockets for keeping things (like infant cap) and places for photographs. I am such a fan of these books I now buy them for baby gifts!

I gave this book 2 stars because that's the "I don't like it" amount.

First of all, the yellow binding on the cover had smudges that could not be removed. So be aware that it might not look nice and new.

Secondly, I didn't realize how lengthy and detailed this book was until I got it... and I found it really excessive in that sense. Most new parents won't have the time, energy, or desire to fill in this book. But some will, of course. So if you find it important to keep a record of things like "My child first focused his eyes on _(date)__" and other minutiae, this might be the book for you. But if you're the type who just wants to enjoy the ride and record major life events, choose another -- like "My Life as a Baby," which is short and sweet.

I was so excited to get this when I ordered it because everyone else seemed so pleased with it! I love this baby book. It has sweet quotes, sweet pictures, there really is room for EVERYTHING, pockets to put papers in, a page all itself for the baby's hospital bracelet, and blank pages that could be used for extra picture space, and in the beginning, an area for the parents to write a letter to the baby. It is perfect!
