Author Troy Osinoff has done it once again. After taking the Internet by storm with his hilarious websites, he has finally memorialized his penchant for funny pictures and stories in book form. This book takes you on a visual journey of parenting mistakes from pregnancy to newborns to toddlers and more. Laughs are guaranteed, as is a faint feeling of despair--how can human beings do these sorts of things? Troy perfectly captures the sentiment with humorous anecdotes before each chapter and with witty statements for each picture. I can't wait for his next one.

"My Bad Parent: Do As I Say, Not as I Did" is one different book. It is funny in a weird way because most of those funny pictures are shocking. I watched this as a "do not do this at home" guide for parents. It is full of funny pictures, with hilarious capitation but with obvious wrong actions towards kids; actions that are conducted by parents with questionable behavior.

Now, if you ever had the feeling that you are a bad parent because you once yelled at your kid for doing something wrong, I guarantee you that this book will make you feel better. And if you think that the picture on the cover might be the best example of bad parenting, you should definitely check it out, you will be surprised.

As soon as I opened the book, I couldn't stop laughing. Right from the start, Troy's tale of kids walking with leashes had me hooked. Good, god! People have treated their children in crazy ways. From letting their toddlers play with condoms to inking their babies (yes, permanently tattooing them), there seems to be no end to the uh, questionable, ways that parents raise their children. This coffee-table book is a great gift for a new parent or anyone who enjoys laughing at photos of extreme parenting fail.

I followed the website for a long time and I was excited to hear I'd finally be able to get the funny images on paperback. It's a good laugh start to finish and it's pretty family friendly. I bought a few copies to hand out to some relatives this Christmas and I think it'd be perfect for anyone with a waiting room in their office, too.

I found the book both amusing and enlightening! Ah parenthood...children should come with an instruction booklet. My husband and I received copies of the book from our son as a gift. Do you think it was a hint?? Anyway a good entertaining light read sure to bring a smile to any parent or grandparent!

My Bad Parent: Do As I Say, Not As I Did by Troy Osinoff has to be seen to be believed. Osinoff has collected photographs of parents doing questionable things with their kids. Some seem staged to be funny, like the smiling child with the diaper over her head, while others are candid shots where the parents seem to have no clue that they are doing anything wacky to their kids.

Many photos fall into the latter category, including kids riding on motorcycles and kids with guns. Osinoff has grouped the photos into chapter-like categories and added comments. Some you'll find down right funny, while others will have you shaking your head and calling for a child license to be issued before anyone can get pregnant.

My Bad Parent is a great book to leave out as a conversation starter at your next party or as a gift to expecting parents. For more fun you can visit Osinoff's website, My Bad Parent.com.

The publisher gave me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
