5.0 out of 5 stars we're trying!, July 21, 2008
By jennifer sweeney "wwlh4" (pomona, ny United States) - See all my reviews
I have been trying to be more environmentally aware for quite some time. A lot of the time I fall short, but I'm trying to set a better example for my children. This is a fun way to help them learn. We have been using our own shopping bags for a short time now but I think If my kids can bring their very own bag on our trips it will penetrate a bit deeper for them. This is an outstanding book with a great lesson for all of us!

5.0 out of 5 stars You're never too young to go green!, April 12, 2008
By Derek M. Armstrong (London, KY United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
For years, I have been teaching my children (8, 5, and 2) how to recycle. Lately, my wife and I are striving to use reusable grocery bags. This book is a great way to explain to our children why we are trying to stop using plastic bags.

5.0 out of 5 stars Using My Bag and Me! to Celebrate Earth Hour, March 27, 2008
I purchased "My Bag and Me!" to read to my daughters during Earth Hour 2008 this weekend, when it's lights out for the environment.

I am planning on reading them the book and giving them the reusable bag to get them more involved in recycling and reusing.
