This book expands on the techniques introduced in Varvara's first book, Coraling Technique, and combines them with other stitches, including peyote, vertical netting, and tubular peyote, to produce a lovely assortment of flowers—a magical "beaded garden". Included are instructions that will allow any beader to quickly and easily create beautiful necklaces, and many of the designs can also be created as flowers, and used to adorn a vase. As is typical of Varvara's instructions, they are detailed and descriptive, showing every step of the beading process. Ideas for improving upon or altering the designs are also included; this allows beaders to expand on the included designs and opens up an even greater multitude of possibilities. The result is a fascinating book--a magical guide through a world full of the scintillating beauty of fantastic flowers.

This book continues my beading series, including the techniques explained in my first book, though this book is focused on one of my favorite sources of inspiration—flowers. I am currently working on my third book, which will focus on netting stitch.

Another outstanding book from Varvara!,

More unique and wonderful designs with clear instructions from our favorite Russian beader. Once again the main difficulty is deciding which to make first. Lots of pictures and diagrams so you should have no trouble completing a project. The best thing is if you ever need help with anything, Varvara is just an email away and she is always willing to go the extra mile to insure you have a great beading experience. I am eagerly awaiting any future books from this talented designer.

If you enjoyed Varvara's first book, this is more than the first, it is very different. Again, she presents the Russian style of beading in an updated manner. The designs are excellent and can be adapted to be more or less than the design shown. The book is detailed, has excellent photos and beading diagrams. She gives you good basic instructions and specific instructions to each project. There are tips throughout the designs to help you construct the piece or modify it as you desire. This book is well worth the price. I can't wait for her next book.

These are some of the most incredibly beautiful flower necklaces that I have ever seen!!! If you are not sure about whether or not to get it, make sure that you click on the second thumbprint showing the back cover with all of the necklaces shown -- absolutely amazing!!! Plus, these flower patterns could easily be used to decorate clothing, purses, or create vases of flowers!!!
