One of the many joys of parenting is the sharing of wonderful memories from our own childhood with our children. Reading books at bedtime that connect us both to our children and to our past is a simple but extremely rewarding experience. I am so pleased to see that this treasure is once more available for a new generation of parents and children.

Hildegarde Ford's "My Go to Bed Book" is a treasure, as are Mary Win's illustrations. This book hearkens to an earlier era, and I love its simplicity and style. Each illustration is a beauty, and it illustrates too a loving relationship between the mother in the story and the child.

The fact this book was originally published so long ago is amazing, as children still enjoy it today.

MY GO TO BED BOOK by Ford & Win is a refreshing, timeless classic. The boardbook style is comfortable and durable for pre-schoolers. The art work and colors are soothing, simple, and balanced to hold the child's attention. The author's words rhythmically weave bed time rituals into pleasant sounding rhymes. Children will quickly memorize and "read" back the story to the parents with great delight! The intimate message is that bed time is a meaningful, shared experience between parent and child.

A wonderful, timeless book. Perfect, soothing bedtime fare for any young child. This should be on every nightstand to read again and again.

This was our favorite bedtime book for our daughters who are now 35 and 31. We read it every night and they memorized it....so we all joined in "reading" it. They still join in and we share it still today, the words have remained in our hearts all these years. I was so excited to find it available on Amazon, because I want all of our grandchildren to have it and all of my sibling's grandchildren will receive it as a gift. It is so sweet, simple and wonderful!!!

I bought this book for my grandson. I really love it and he does too. It reminds me of the Dick and Jane books I read as a child. It is such a sweet book. I would highly recommend this book.

Such a cute and wonderful book to read to my granchildren before they go to bed!

This is my 21 month old's favorite book. I like the incorporation of prayer in the nighttime routine during the story. My son relates to the book. The pictures are so adorable. Highly recommended, especially for little boys.

My daughter is 13 months and loves this book. Every night as we are getting ready for bed she will bring this book over to me to read to her. She loves the bright simple pictures. The story line is cute as well.
