A great opportunity to have all the greatest Christmas hits from Amy Grant. If you have most of Her Christmas CD's then you have most of this material.

My Best Christmas is an Amy Grant compilation album of her three previous Christmas albums. It was released by YMC Records (Your Music Channel Records). It features two hard to find Christmas songs: "Merry Christmas Darling" which was only available on the Target store version of A Christmas to Remember, and "Child of God" which was on her limited edition Christmas maxi-single that was released in 1999.

This CD was only available for a limited time online and thru Radio Shack There are two excellent bonus tracks however, "Child of God" and "Merry Christmas darling". "Child of God" is absolutely beautiful. "Merry Christmas darling" is the Karen Carpenter remake. I only have "Home for Christmas" so this is a real treat.

I appreciate the way Amy Grant brings the true meaning of Christmas to the music. I'm sure this cd will be highly sought after in time due to it's limited release.Highly recommend!!

I was a little disappointed with this CD. Feel she could have done better choosing the songs and the quality of her singing was much less than it used to be.

Great CD for those of us who like Christmas music, and Amy Grant's voice and song selection on this CD is so enjoyable. All the tracks are good, none I would skip when listening.

Amy Grant would have to be it. Our family pulls this CD out every Christmas season without fail, and listen to it over and over and over. Amy really nailed it with this recording! I never tire of several of the tracks. I could play them all day long, and every time I hear them, they take me to another place. Something like a Thomas Kinkade snow scene of a small, warm house nestled near the woods with snow on the ground, snow falling, a crescent moon trying to poke through the clouds and a fire in the fireplace. If ever a voice was created for singing Christmas classics, it is Amy Grant's!

I have all the other Amy Grant Christmas albums. This one is the BEST of all.

The day after Christmas, I do what I do every year--I look to add to my Christmas music collection. One of my finds was this 2005 release that I picked up for two dollars at Radio Shack (and still available from their website). Essentially it is a sampler of Amy Grant's previous three Christmas albums: 1983's A CHRISTMAS ALBUM (tracks 1, 6 and 8), 1992's HOME FOR CHRISTMAS (tracks 2, 3, 5, 9, 10 and 12) and 1999's A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER (tracks 4, 11 and14).

What makes this collection especially significant for Amy Grant fans are the two bonus tracks. Although not previously unreleased, they are hard to find. Both were recorded at the same time as the A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER album sessions. "Merry Christmas Darling" (a note-perfect cover of the Carpenters' arrangement) was originally only available as a hidden bonus track on the version of the CD sold at Target stores. "Child of God" was the second track of a limited edition Christmas maxi-single which also featured "Christmas Medley"--which consisted of selections from A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER to promote the album. [Note: There is a third non-album single that would have made this CD even better had it also been included. In 1992 "Let the Season Take Wing" was released as a single only in Target stores.]

Amy Grant is one of the best-selling contemporary Christian artists of all time. Whether she's performing secular or religious material, her voice is perfect for the holidays. [Running Time - 55:39]HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Amy Grant has long been associated with Christmas, her Christmas albums and tours awaited with fun anticipation and received with giddy delight by all. I find this Christmas compilation by Amy to be indispensable. This is a wonderful collection of songs from Amy's first three Holiday recordings and just about everything you could want is here.

Alternating tenderness and fun, the arrangement of the songs on My Best Christmas has a nice flow and mix of Christmas feelings impossible not to like. There are a few surprises included here which will delight fans, with perhaps the omission of Amy's fun "Christmas Can't Be Very Far Away" the only disappointment. This truly is the best of Amy's Christmas albums.

Though there are no liner notes, the lovely shot of Amy on the cover sleeve with the reds and greens, snowflakes and firelight backlighting the beautiful photo, has a real Christmas feel. The technical quality from YMC Records is top quality, as this is no second-tier recording made from an inferior source. The sound is excellent. Here are the tracks included:

This is simply fabulous and even if you own all of Amy's Christmas albums this one is a must for your collection. It has nearly everything great from Amy all on one disc, which is to say it has everything that is wonderful about Christmas.
