My Bible Coloring Book: A Fun Way for Kids to Color Through the Bible

I have taught non-denominational Sunday School for children at a hospital for about 8 years, and have updated my set of these, periodically. These are wonderful stories (straight-forward versions that don't appear to have bias). They are geared generally for elementary school children, but I have such a wide range of ages (toddlers to teenagers), and everyone loves them. Parents often comment how nice they are, because the story is on one side, and coloring page on the reverse. They do include both Old and New Testament stories, however, for those of different denominations.

I really am disappointed in these books. I was under the impression there was more of a story to go along with the picture. There is ONLY A VERSE and it doesn't even print the verse. It just gives the address at the top, i.e. "Genesis 1:1-2:25" That's it. I think you can find similar books at the dollar store. :( What a bummer!!!

Age appropiate. I have used the coloring book for several others uses, with those images. My 2 year olds are too young to color. They are not that devloped.

I chose this simple Bible coloring book to use as my homeschooling curriculum for my children, ages 4, 7 and 9 years old. I could not have been more pleased! For our daily Bible time, I simply had my children color the picture that corresponded to that day's story, and we moved through the Bible from Genesis through Revelation, taking two school years. My kids listened so attentively as I read, and afterward, we would discuss the story, its meaning and how it applies to us. Fascinating how a simple, childlike resource can facilitate great big Bible understanding. Two thumbs WAY up!!! (My kids are now 6, 9 and 11, and they STILL ask for these pictures to color as we discuss the Bible!)

It is a nice coloring book. I just wish they had it so that you could tear out indvidual pages with the perforated line on each page so that I could use it for Sunday School copies.

This coloring book is great!! The pictures are appropriate for kids. My preschool kids love the pictures and I love that they are easy to copy.
