This CD is a compilation of Rhonda's work with the Virginia based Rebel label.The individual CD's are still available but for those unfamiliar with this era of Rhonda's work should start
here.The song selection is great,the vocals are fantastic,and the musicians playing on this were the best around at the time.

This is not straight ahead Bluegrass, like her current work on the Rounder label.This era tends to lean towards a country sound.
It is interesting to see her progression to full blown country on her two CD's released on the Giant label, to the Queen of Bluegrass on her current Rounder label work!

Highly recommended! If you enjoy this I suggest you eventually get all the Rebel era CD's. You won't be disappointed.It's obvious from listening to this early 90's era of Rhonda that she was a special talent.She has since become the IBMA's female vocalist of the year five times in a row. What else can you say.

Great music from a wonderful artist.

I love every track on this CD. Ms. Vincent sings from the heart. Great bluegrass music.

I love her voice and have several of her other CD's. I presumed since I loved hearing her sing so much, there was no way I couldn't like this one as well. That was a mistake. I have never picked up this CD again after hearing it once. This CD didn't seem to have her style at all. Listen to the clips before you consider this one!
