My Boys is a fantastic show, and the fourth season was definitely the best. But with only 9 half-hour episodes, how can anyone justify charging $36 for it? Hopefully this is a mistake, because it doesn't have a release date yet, and the price will come down.

What I can't understand is why hasn't this season released yet? I pre-ordered over a year ago... where is it? I was hoping that another station would grab this excellent show, seeing since they cannot seem to come up with butkis(?) on their own. This is a *fabulous* show, but TBS completely blew it... too few episodes, too long in between seasons, not enough attention paid to it. It's a real pity.

Renewing the show then canceling it after 9 episodes then asking full season price. Are they crazy? And as a fan of the show owning this season is just wrong. They got rid of Jim Gaffigan, denied the actors playing PJ & Bobby jobs on real network tv, then bought in the fabulous Rachel Harris only to cancel it. To make matters worse this season's "start" really wasn't up to the previous seasons so again no reason to buy this. I knew this was the last season but what a crummy way to go out. I'm giving it 2 stars out of sentimentality it really only deserves 1.

It is ashame that TBS has not given My Boys the respect like it really deserved. The final season has left the show with a lot of loose ends. I think that the writers had the opportunity to work with new story lines with Mike's new marriage and PJ/Bobby's growing relationship and their career setbacks. This was the 21st century answer to Friends. Unfortunately many great shows like My Boys had to sucumb to the bottom line.
