This is the CD single of "My Brave Face", which was a #25 hit in 1989, and was Paul McCartney's last real hit of the 20th Century. It's a great song, which Paul wrote with Elvis Costello. The "b-side" is "Flying to My Home", which is another very good song. The CD is filled out by two great cover versions of Fats Domino songs. These songs are from the "Russian Album", which was unreleased in the U.S. at the time. In my opinion, this is one of the best CD singles from the early days of CD singles. Here is the track listing:
1. My Brave Face 2. Flying to My Home 3. I'm Gonna Be a Wheel Someday 4. Ain't That a Shame

The first single from 1989's FLOWERS IN THE DIRT album has a really good b-side. FLYING TO MY HOME harkens back (to my ears, anyway) to the mid-70s WINGS era. McCartney's wailing, gritty voice makes this number rock solid. That, and the autoharp that's plucked nearly throughout the entire tune! Hey -- sword mandle on STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER...autoharp on FLYING TO MY HOME.
