I prefer the original Brest Friend covers, but I'm not crazy about the velcro strap. I love this nursing pillow overall, and it helps with positioning. I'm nursing a 3 month old and still use this pillow at home every day. I was ready to quit nursing because positioning my preemie was so difficult, but I saw this in the hospital "nursing shop" and made my husband buy it for me. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! It's far better than the Boppy pillow and doesn't roll the baby or move from my waist. There is nothing bad I have to say about the Brest Friend... skip the popular Boppy and get this! It rescued my nursing experience.

I have both the older version of the breast friend cover (velcro only attachment) and bought this deluxe one for use with my second child. It is way better than the original because of the clip closure. (This way, you don't awaken your child by trying to take off the pillow if they've fallen asleep.) My breast friend is the best nursing pillow BY FAR and as a mother of two exclusively breast-fed children, I LOVE it!
As a chiropractor, I highly recommend the lumbar support it provides Mom during nursing, and allows for the best latch positioning for the baby due to the flat top of the pillow. (Especially when they are infants.) Other nursing pillows have rounded tops which force the baby to roll either towards or away from you. Not ideal. I have bought this for friends and family who are expecting and tell my patients about it as well.

I bought the blue/white cover and when I received it, realized that it was a cover for the original brest friend and not for the deluxe model. There is no velcro strap that comes off - it is not furry either but just plain cotton.

Like the deluxe slipcovers a lot better than the regular. The quiet release clip helps a lot. I was disappointed when ordering the Blue. It is not the color shown, it is more or a baby blue (light pastel color). The sunburst print on this page is also not DELUXE even thought it shows as an option under that title.

Fantastic! Way better than the original velcro-only attachment/adjustment, baby would always wake upon removal. The color is a pleasant soft green and the fabric is very snuggly for mommy and baby : ). I would recommend this cover to replace an old one or as a back-up for wash day(s).

This is by far the best cover to buy. It is exactly the same as the original cover and is easy to wash. be sure to never put it in the dryer, they do shrink easy.

A must have if you are breastfeeding. This pillow is comfortable for both mother and baby (who is now 9 months old). Slipcover can be easily washed and easily adjustable for mothers who are losing their baby weight. I use it everyday about 5 times a day and I miss it when I am not home and breastfeeding in someelse's house.

It's a soft cover. Loved the pillow when I nursed. My only complaint is that the brest friend pillow doesn't have a nicer assortment of colors. They should take note from Boppy.

I bought this pillow on the recommendation of a friend. I think it's better for nursing in a cradle or reverse cradle position than the boppy. It's firmer and the bumps helped elevate baby's head and kept her from sliding down on the curved surface like on the boppy. But it didn't work as well for me with the football hold. And the the back piece wasn't comfortable. It might have been better if it was higher. Being so low, it just stuck me in the back. Neither worked perfectly for me.

When i had first bought the brest friend pillow i couldn't believe how firm this pillow really was and the original slipcover didn't do it justice so i purchased this very nice soft deluxe pink slipcover, and couldn't have been more happy.
