Writing has been a dream come true. Romance is a genre that comes easy for me since I love everything about love and the first budding feelings that come with it. Everyone wants to experience love in its purity. The first look that brings two souls together in an unspoken message that says this is only the beginning, the brush of hands touching for the first time, and the special first kiss that every romantic remembers.
When I write, I just begin. I get an idea and it just seems to rush out with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes it is on the computer, other times I have a pad of paper and again other times I have little napkins with thoughts, phrases, and descriptions of people, places and things. The plot begins and my characters come to life. The whole process is fun and I love getting immersed in my fantasy world.
I am one to give a happy ending to my stories. The twists and turns are fun and giving something unexpected is delightful, but I want to leave my readers feeling good when they are finished reading my stories.
My name is Vickie, but I write under the name of Tory Lynn. I live in Southern Utah with my husband and daughter. I don't get to write as much as I would like at this time, because real life comes at us in full force, but it is a dream that I will never give up.
The one piece of advice I would give to anyone who has the dream of writing. Is just do it. Never let an opportunity go by to write what inspires you.
