Another Angel Book...I must say this one goes up on the humorous and bit erotic shelf...it's just a bit...:)

Mrs. Barbour is a writer of light, humorous, love stories. Her stories grow in their own way and root themselves in the reader's heart. I was carried away with love and laughter...

I love the light romances that were so popular in the past, and I find that today many authors have turned to the dark side. I like to chuckle with my characters, and if can laugh out loud, better still. And...if a book can bring me tears, then I feel I've gotten my money's worth.
I hope My Cheeky Angel can do all of the above for you.

"My Cheeky Angel" is a fun, fast read. Best friends Annie and Tyler think that they have to change their lives in order to find the fulfillment they're looking for. Annie, with the help of her funny guardian angel Celi, tries to overcome her shyness by leaving a job she loves and taking a new one in the corporate world. When their friendship begins to change because her job keeps her away from him, Tyler starts to see Annie in a new light. Annie and Tyler discover that everything they ever wanted was right in front of them all along.

I love stories about friends who become something more. And Mimi Barbour delivers with "My Cheeky Angel".

I loved My Cheeky Angel. There is an angel "Celi". There was the sweet romance between Annie and Tyler. Annie felt she could do more than work in child care center and changed to high profile job in Human Resources and worked 12 -16 hr days with no time for friends or self. Tyler worked with homeless at risk children and youth which demanded a lot of his time. Both found out that friends were more important than job. This story shows you that you do have choices but don't put your job ahead of family and friends. Celi was Annie's angel who helped her find herself. Annie helped Tyler with the teenage girls by talking to them and showing she cared. The ending was beautiful. Would recommend anyone one who loves romance read My Cheeky Angel. I received this book from author for reviewing and so glad I did. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

I found Celi funny, caught my attention with her laugh at the very beginning, not your typical impression of angels... heheheeh I always love this author's range of characters, they are always an entertaining bunch and keep you engaged, she always manages to paint the scene in your head so you feel like you are watching a movie. She always manages to bring a light-hearted touch to even subjects that make you think, and I really identified with the workaholic Annie... :)

I'm an author who loves to read uplifting stories about romance. Add in some time travel, or maybe an angel, or even a little romantic suspense and it makes the story more fascinating because of the incredible possibilities.

Mimi Barbour was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, too long ago to mention the date. She lives on the beautiful East coast of Vancouver Island and writes her paranormal romances with tongue-in-cheek and a mad glint in her eye. Asked why she prefers paranormal or suspense, she answers, chuckling...

"Because it's fun! Imagination can be a lot more interesting than what happens in real life to so-called normal people. I love my characters, and my goal is to make the readers love them also. To care about what happens to them while the story unfolds. If I can steal my booklover's attention away from their every day grind, absorb them into a fantasy love story, and make them care about the ending, then I've done my job."

(In 2000, while living in Guinea, West Africa, Mimi started taking corespondence creative writing courses. Upon returning to Canada, she signed onto a four year program with the Children's Institure of Literature to work on Children's Stories. After some time and very few sales, she switched her genre to romance.
