Yes yes yes,

Amazing- it's hard to say what hasn't already been said about this album. Almost as good as Wowee Zowee or nearly anything by the JSBX or the BJM. Stands up to EVERYTHING (no joke) produced by anybody afterwards. Incredible music for the discerning fan. If you don't enjoy this disc then the problem is with YOU.

decadent, decadent fun. Wickedness you can tap yer feet to.,

First off, 'April Fools' is downright genius - it's comic dynamite. This album is wicked, perverse, offensive, entertaining, disgusting, fanciful, and ghoulishly delightful. This one is not quite as good as 'Only Right and Natural' - this one is too long and some of th songs meander out there a little too far. But overall, it's astounding.

The Frogs are not a favorite of moms and dads.,

The frogs will make you laugh, and make you wince, and then you will wonder why you keep listening to them. The music is folksy Pop, created by the brothers Jimmy and Dennis Flemion. Subject matter ranges from gay rights rants, to songs about grandma with a penis in her hand. It is not for the timnid, but if you are looking for an album that is refreshingly bizzare, then check this one out.

Wicked!,

This review is from: My Daughter the Broad (Audio CD)
This is simply the best improvised album ever recorded. Every song is 100% made-up on the spot. It will blow your mind when you hear how wickedly funny and musically interesting the Flemion brothers can be when they are just singing and playing off the top of their heads. Too bad it's out of print...it's an underground classic. Maybe some other record label will strap on some balls and snatch it away from clueless Matador Records.

You haven't lived until you've listened to The Frogs,

I've heard people say that this album is second to "It's Only Right and Natural" but I think "My Daughter the Broad" is so much better. I think that IIRAN was the climb up the the pinnacle that is MDTB, then Bananimals is the come down. MDTB has songs that seem much deeper than songs on those other albums and are much, much funnier. If you've never heard them before, you should buy this one and listen to it first.

This is the funniest CD I have ever listened to!! Even though some of the songs are a bit innapropriate, you can't help but smile when you hear them. I don't think this is the kind of music for children, but people with a sense of humor will enjoy it.

Recommended by the DarkCircuitry to anyone with a sick twisted or just outragous sense of humor

this is one of the best albums ever made, and i am lucky enough to have my copy autographed my jimmy and dennis when i saw them live. every review written about this album on amazon is 100% correct. this album can only be second to the frogs album "it's only right and natural". it's a shame that people such as britney spears and justin timberlake make so much money making horrible muzik while the frogs remain underground. it makes me so sad i want to play the track "i'm sad because my goat just died today". i suppose it's gOod that the frogs are not famous because they don't sign autographs, if you take a picture of them, your camera's smashed. they only play for money, they don't give a f#@k about the plans. don't you know they are stars?!

The Frogs' White Album,

Why are these stupid songs so addictive? Why do I discover unintentionally poignant messages in the lyrics? How are these songs developed? Is it 100% off-the-cuff improvisation or have they mastered some kind of hilarious half-baked delivery of carefully rehearsed songs? I may never know until I see them live, which might be never, but I could still get over it, especially if Dennis were to toss me a drumstick, or at least answer his e-mail, which can be found at the Frogs Archive site, which hasn't been updated in a year.
This album has the layout and feel of the Beatles' White Album. Seriously. Think about it. It's a certified masterpiece. "Looked at my watch and it was quarter to eight! (Seven!!) Oops!!!"

Let me just say that "I'm Sad the Goat Just Died Today" might well be one of the greatest recordings ever. This is one strange CD, and no household should be without one.
