5.0 out of 5 stars Making Diabetes Easier
This is the book I have been trying to make for myself out a notebook. It is very easy to use and is even a boone for the Dr. to see how you Diabetes is doing. This can go to the Dr. with you, and answer all those "I don't know" questions.
Easy to fill in, and take with me on travels in case of emergency.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really worth it
All of the info in this binder can be gotten off the internet. I was hoping for pages that I could record not only my glucose reading but what I had eaten so I could track which meals/foods were better then others but there are no pages where you can note that with a column for the glucose reading (pre- and post-meal). You can't remove the pages. And mostly, this thing...

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but one problem, May 30, 2009
This is great for helping you learn how to take care of your diabetes. The only draw back on this is that once you use up all the forms and information is documented, you cannot add to this book. Once used its not useful anymore. There's no way to add sheets for continuing your care. It will just be good to read after that. So I'm glad I have it to help me learn but I will have to find another way of keeping track.

You can't remove the pages. And mostly, this thing is too big to slip into a purse or pocket, and the cover alone is heavy. I wanted something that would make keeping track of my food intake-glucose numbers-date/time of meal--and maybe a few pages of basic food carb listings (the common ones) and maybe a place to write what the "normal" number are to remind me where I'm aiming for. I'd have been better off buying a school binder and notebook paper, drawing my own columns (which I can do on the computer, just through a diabetes organizer might already have it done for me).

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment!!!!!, November 9, 2010

The record keeper is the size of one of those cheap give away pocket calendars. If you are "new" to the diabetic world, the organizer would probably give you some advice, but nothing your doctor hasn't already told you. I suggest going to your local hospital diabetic classes instead.
