My Diva Diet has finally arrived! This is THE book for anyone truly interested in a healthy lifestyle and is looking for the tools to make it happen. Christine is sharing her secrets here, in a simple, easy-to-read, and just-plain-fun workbook, that if you follow, will be guaranteed to produce results. This is the book that finally I am recommending to my patients, because she has been able to address physiology, nutrition, and lifelong habits that will work for every woman. And men, these secrets apply to us as well!! If you really want to impact your health, and the kind of future you want for yourself, this book is a must-read! Dr Johnnie Ham, MD, OBGYN.

I like this book a lot. The diet program is constructed in two phases: the diva reduction phase and the diva maintenance phase. She explains the program thoroughly for each phase. It contains a lot of information and it's easy to understand. Some of what it contains are: a quiz to analyze your current condition, a menu plan, charts on what to eat and how much to eat, grocery shopping suggestions, restaurant eating guide, body composition/body fat guide and info, your own personal workspace at the back, and tons of information on nutrion. The information in this book can be used while you're on a diet or if you're just trying to overcome unhealthy habits.

Real Information that Works!,

This is truly the only book on nutrition you will ever need!
It is easy and entertaining to read and it makes sense because the information is real, not based on the author trying to sell you her brand of vitamins or supplements or gadgets. I followed the program and at 54 years of age I am in the best health and shape than I have been in years. Christine knows what she is writing about, it works, all you have to supply is the discipline. No gimmicks here the food is real and so are the tips for finding your best weight. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to be their best at any age! I visited her web site at mydivadiet.com and found it to be quite interesting and you can get a bird's eye view of the program. Thank you Christine for My Diva Diet!

Women Look No More!,
This review is from: My Diva Diet: A Woman's Last Diet Book (Paperback)
As a child and teenager my mother was always dieting. Every diet was different and she would always lose weight but eventually gain it back. Consequently, I was determined never to "diet" when I grew up. Unfortunately, I did experience some weight gain as I got older, and I knew the only right way to diet was to eat healthy and exercise. The problem was what diet plan would I chose? I needed to know what and how to eat without eliminating whole food groups and poisoning my body with chemicals. Finally, I was introduced to My Diva Diet. My Diva Diet is the best and only answer to staying healthy for the rest of your life. It is an easy, sensible guide to eating healthy and maintaining a healthy weight and body fat percentage for a lifetime. I also feel confident knowing that the author has practiced this diet for years and has successfully trained many people with these principles as well. This will definitely be the last diet book you will ever need to buy!

This review is from: My Diva Diet: A Woman's Last Diet Book (Paperback)
As one that has read hundreds of "diet" and other books dedicated to good health, I understand that it's not easy for an author to somehow separate theirs from the pack from the multitudes published every year. My Diva Diet; A Woman's Last Diet Book puts a lot of effort into differentiating itself from the others by attempting to make itself fun. Unfortunately, for me, it came across as contrived and cartoony which overshadowed some of the very good information contained within.
There's certainly nothing wrong attempting to infuse a bit of fun into a not-so-fun topic. There's a line, however, and My Diva Diet not only crosses it, it wantonly flings itself into bad comic strip hell. Ms. Diva (I'm assuming modeled after the author) and her kitten-turned-panther "Paw" have joined forces to combat those ghastly diet villains who have been assigned assorted sobriquets that can border on the bizarre. Each also is accompanied by a rather unflattering cartoon character. For example: "Al" and his sister, "Cole": Drinking too much (you guessed it!) alcohol. "Joe Stufft" is our overeating villain. "Sat Fat" takes in too much saturated fat. "Tranny Granny" (I have to admit, this one made me do a double take along with extracting a chuckle) whose crime is eating too much trans fats. But, then it is obvious that coming up with a moniker for a many diet villains was a challenge when "Girlie Die and her poodle It" represents excessive dieting and eating disorders. (Ladies and Gentlemen, the sound you hear is the scraping of the bottom of the barrel.) Whew! Got THAT out of my system. Let us now move on to the good which is contained within the pages of this rather voluminous book. The focus is on good nutrition. If you are looking for the miracle and quick fix, you won't find it here. The author emphasizes lifestyle and making healthful eating a permanent and NORMAL fixture in one's life. It's the usual diet book stuff: drink lots of water, limit or eliminate, salt, alcohol, sugar, and fat, intake. She does recommend shopping at health food stores and eating organic which could be a problem for those that don't have access to such where they live. She doesn't get preachy though she does sprinkle a bit of her religious philosophy (Conservative Christian, easily found using Google) throughout the book. As someone who is not religious, it does not distract from the intent of the book. And, believe me, if it was distracting, I would make sure anyone reading this review knew it! She does have a beginning diet plan to help take off the pounds and eventually allows "cheats". There are recipes and suggestions. Ms. Diva and Paw pop up throughout the pages ala The "dummies" books offering advice along the way. I did find a glaring error though. On page 313 the author claims that one slice of bacon has 21 grams of fat. What brand is that and what SIZE? I couldn't find one with more than eight on the well-known national brands. Another problem this book has is because it is self-published it has no INDEX. So, if one wants to go directly to a specific subject, you're outta luck. So, make sure when reading this, you mark information you will want to refer back to since using the index is not an option. Bottom line: If you can get beyond the ridiculous format, this is a useful book dedicated to healthful living. Follow it, and you will lose weight and make a positive change to your health and that is what really matters. Overall, I give it a 3.5 stars.

Biggest waste of money on a diet book ever. It's crammed with information you could find in an ordinary magazine like SELF or HEALTH or any other fitness type magazine. This book is so lame that I was actually offended and insulted by the authors. Awful ridiculous nonsense!
