My Dream by Yvette Michele is very good album and was long awaited since her 1st single came out in '96 or '95. After hearing both of her hot singles, I had to get the album and I wasnt disappointed with it. It's so good!! My personal favorites are: "You Make Me Go Crazy," "Let's Stay Together," "Everyday & Everynight," and "Nothin' Like The First Time." I also noticed that the music in "I'm Not Feeling You" sounds very similiar to the music in Lil' Kim's "Big Momma Thang." There are so many good songs on here, but my only complaint is that the radio announcer at one of the end of the songs could've been left out. I thought that ruined it and was a bit annoying. Aside from that, this CD is awesome and a MUST to get!

Good debut, December 11, 2003
This review is from: My Dream (Audio CD)
The only album of Yvette, but she is still there. She just recently sung on a prominent German rapper's CD. Yvette is also still touring. She was discovered by Funkmaster Flexx (Blu Cantrell "Hit em up style"-remix), who also produced the main part of this album. The rest is produced by Full Force. It's a fine album with good tracks. The hit "I'm not feeling you" is probably still known to everyone. The other singles "DJ keep playing" and "Everyday & everynight" are also really catchy. It's a good album for a relaxed, good mood or party time. Good groovy sounds

Perfect Marriage of Hip Hop and R&B, July 17, 2002
This review is from: My Dream (Audio CD)
This album is definitely a must have. Yvette Michele is the epitome of real underground hip hop soul. Many of the tracks here are produced by Funkmaster Flex, including her smash hit debut "Everyday & Everynight" and her followup singles "I'm Not Feeling You" and "Crazy." The album is worth buying for these three songs alone -- the beats and melodies are totally infectious. I really miss this kind of old school hip hop production style with sampling and scratching. Today's R&B doesn't sound like this anymore. Although she doesn't have the best vocal skills, Yvette Michele has a cool and sexy voice that's like no other...
