Should be required reading for anyone contemplating a military career. Pershings tasks included defending the honor of the U.S. Military, enormous logistical problems, Diplomatic liaisons with the European powers, and the obvious problem of cooperating with the allied military forces. He did it all, by his own admission, with valor and wisdom. Based on the attitude of our allies, I am sure it took that and more to succeed as he did! Thank you General.T.
