It's about time the BBC released this here in the US. I can't wait for the rest of the seasons to come out as well. Such a high-quality enduring comedy is hard to come by anymore with the broadcast waves full of reality tv, American Idol, and NASCAR. We deserve something more stimulating, and this is it!

Hilarious!! Ben Harper and his controlling wife Susan are the "perfect" parents to Nick, Janie and Michael. The Brits have a wonderful sense of humor towards family life. Nick's (Kris Miller) antics steal the show. The wonderful temp replacements for dental assistants cannot be missed in season two. I cannot wait for the rest of the series to be released. A fun show to watch over and over again.

A little off-beat but still consistently clever and witty with one-liners abounding. This dysfunctional family has a disillusioned father and a towering highlight in son, Nick, whose brilliance in manifesting the ridiculous, the bizarre, the unexpected and the unorthodox are supreme. Otherwise, it's conventional, domestic UK family comedy set in suburbia, so if you're looking to extend your collection of comedy beyond the mainstream (like 'To The Manor Born' and 'Yes, Minister') then obtain this series for hours of laughs while getting to know this family.

This has got to be the funniest show I have every seen. I laugh all the way through it. I am not kidding. Everyone has great lines, but Nick has the best. I caught a peek at it on KTEH one night and rented it...then had to have it. My Granddaugther loves it as much as I do. I can't wait until the third season comes out. I'll buy that one too.

I have to agree with the other reviewers that Nick steals a lot of the scenes...He is absolutely hilarious, especially those facial expressions! But I love all the episodes and laugh until my side hurts and I can't get my breath. One of my favorites being Ben and the alarm system. I can't wait to get my dvd's. I am so glad I found BBC America and My Family! I look forward to coming home every day now to see my saved episodes!

This sitcom gives American audiences the opportunity to view this quirky family as the three children go through the teenage years. The dynamics are interesting and entertaining; all the characters are more than one-dimentional. After viewing the series on BBC America for a couple of seasons (or whenever it was shown in the USA), I felt I wanted to buy the DVD's so that I could enjoy watching the episodes for years to come.

Laughed my ---ss off. Watching it for the third time tonight.
If you love British comedy you will love this BBC full season
of programs.

My family is a wonderful British comedy, about a wonderfully dysfunctional family. If you like to laugh, you will absolutely love this BBC show!

This is one of the few shows I actually watch on tv. I try and catch the reruns on PBS on Saturday night, but it doesn't always work out. My husband surprised me with Seasons 1 & 2 for valentine's day, and I was thrilled. The show is funny and well written. The shows are in HD format, which makes them look fantastic on our big screen tv. The price on Amazon is definitely the best around!

The only problem with My Family is that its run was way too short. British comedy is sometimes obscure and stuffy, but this is incisive, sparkling, endlessly hysterical. The dynamic between the cast members is brilliant, the writing terrific, and the timing and delivery nothing short of magic. Watch it NOW!!!
