I met the author of this book, Victoria Wilson Darrah, yesterday while in El Segundo, CA. I bought her book, My Father's Daughter...continuing the Dream, came home and began reading, and put it down when I finished it after 10:00 last night. Her account of her relationship with her father as well as his impact on her entire life (both before and after his murder in 1986) is a testimony to the importance of the men in our lives and the roles they can play for the good of the entire world when they make the hard and personal choices to walk on the high roads of life rather than the common, low paths. John Wilson was and is a man to be admired and emulated. His daughter, Victoria, has been blessed to have been formed and influenced by his example which reaches far beyond his grave on this earth. Death cannot stop the kind of power John Wilson had and still has; I saw that same power working in his daughter yesterday as I conversed with her and prayed with her. This book gives all women the desire to move forward with our lives and see what our Mighty God can do!!
