This book on Agoraphobia is enlightening for all of us. We need to better understand anyones phobia and that they can NOT cure themselves with self help books, that a Psychologist or Psychiatrist is the only ones who can help them cope with this and hopefully bring them out of their dungeon and into the real world. To those who read this who have the affliction please make sure you are having counseling over the phone or at your home. I do not believe that just books help to cure a person ever, a trained professional is the best way to be cured for good and it does not happen overnight. This book most certainly enlightens the people who know individuals with this horrible affliction and helps them better understand the dreaded phobia that keeps them a prisoner in their homes.

My Fear of You: Living with Agoraphobia is an excellent textbook which helps to explain this difficult condition which makes it impossible for people to leave their home. The book is well written and very comprehensive. It is a great book for patients, their family, and psychiatrists to read. I give it a 5 Star excellent rating. By Gregg L. Friedman MD, Psychiatrist, Hallandale Beach, FL

I identified with this book and realized I am not alone with this phobia. A lot of self help books dont do it for me. Id rather read an interesting fiction or biography.

5.0 out of 5 stars Breathtakingly On-Point, Plus Handy Resource List March 12, 2013

Graham 's booklet is a must-read for those diagnosed with agoraphobia, and their employers, doctors, lawyers, community members, and loved ones; the depth in perspective in the narrative is given breadth by the wealth of links, addresses, and phone numbers to agoraphobia resources, such that the willing reader has no further excuse but to go forth and be well informed.
