5.0 out of 5 stars wow what a writer, November 1, 2007

This review is from: My Fellow Americans (Hardcover)
wow - what a writer! Keir Graff's 2nd novel (his first appeared under the pseudonym Michael McCulloch) truly highlights his talents as a creative and innovative fresh face on the literary scene. His book is suspenseful, positively political, and extremely well versed in the English language - a rare talent these days. A definite must-read for anyone interested in how the creative literary sprirts in this country processed 9/11.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you're not paranoid yet, you will be after reading this, March 10, 2009
This review is from: My Fellow Americans (Paperback)
I do mean this as a high compliment to the author. This is a relentlessly grabbing story of a future in which elections have been suspended by executive order due to terrorist actions in the U.S. A free lance photographer and journalist is interrogated by Homeland Security and forcibly recruited as an agent...eventually a double agent. This is an ultimate pageturner. I've read Graff's later novel, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, and this definitely is on a par.

5.0 out of 5 stars Graff Gives Good Chase, July 18, 2008
This review is from: My Fellow Americans (Paperback)
Graff is able to capture the anxiety of a man on the run and the suspense and paranoia that are becoming more a part of American culture. It's not hard to imagine seeing Jason Walker on the EL in Chicago scrambling to plot out his next move. A great sophomore effort for Graff who's last book, Cold Lessons, was written under a pen name.
