My First Dollhouse - African American

I just bought this doll house for my two year old daughter and she loves it. She has not stopped playing with it since she got it.Her four year old brother loves it too. It is very sturdy thus far and very easy to put together. I like the fact that it only makes two sounds (doorbell and phone), which lets the children use their imagination. The only thing I wish is that the kitchen area stayed put when the kids open the fridge and oven, but a piece of double sided-tape might fix that. Overall, a great dollhouse to keep a heavy-handed toddler busy.

My daughter really liked this, the people are a nice size and are sturdy enough for even wild toddlers' play. The house comes with very little furniture, however, so you really need to buy at least the baby's room set. Also, the kitchen chairs that actually do come with the set aren't the best, the people slide off them very easily. Frustrating for a 2 year old. In addition, the limbs on the people are quite stiff and take some effort to move. That will probably loosen up as they are played with, and my daughter still loves playing with it. For $30, it's a good deal. I bought the caucasian family online at the part website and both families live in the house.

I looked for a few months for the African-American version of the dollhouse without luck. The stores and sites would sell out quickly of the few they ordered. When it became available on Amazon I jumped and the price was almost $[...] lower than others. My 3 y/o daughter loves it and the figures are perfect for preschool hands. The furnishings are just the right size to not get stepped on in the dark (a big plus) and it was so easy to put together, she helped.

Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I ordered this for my grand-daughter who happens to be bi-racial. The African American Dollhouse was 29.99 and the caucasian Dollhouse was 59.99, the only difference was the color of the dolls. I haven't figured that out yet. Because we wanted a mixed family (as is ours) & we're on a budget, we called Fisher-Price and they were happy to send us the caucasian family free of charge. The dollhouse had wonderful reviews, so I'm looking forward to seeing my grand-daughters imagination run wild on Christmas.

We bought this dollhouse for my youngest daughter's first birthday. I wanted something she could grow into since we have passed down so many baby toys from my older two kids. This is a really great house! So far it seems very sturdy. The people are chunky and easy to hold. I want to order extra furniture sets in the future as it doesn't come with much. I DO like that it comes with a potty. I don't know why, but many dollhouses we see don't come with them, and I think it would be nice to have that as a model for potty training. Especially since so many dollhouses are focused on that 2-4 year age range.

We did order the Caucasion family through an offer at the Fisher Price website. You can print out a form and mail in your UPC code from this house to get the family ethnicity you want for free! Now we have two families to play with and a great house! Even my 7 year old and 4 year old love playing with it, and they have dollhouses of their own!

My almost 3 year old daughter received this for Christmas. Since we are married family of four, it was very important for me that my daughter have a pretent family that kind of looks like us. This is great for pretent play for all of us. I purchased the crib from Toys R Us, and ordered the Living Room and Mom & Dads room from Fisher Price's website. These were backordered. Each room cost $8. I refused to pay the very overpriced prices on eBay, and the other individual sellers on Amazon.

Our 2-year-old daughter got this doll house for Christmas, and it has quickly become a favorite. The pieces are just the right size, and I like its simplicity -- not too many bells and whistles.

I purchased this doll house for my 2 1/2 year old daughter this past x-mas and she loves it. It was very easy to put together and the pieces are a perfect fit for her fingers. There are accessories that come with it and others you have to purchase separately. I would advise you purchase them all together because they are hard to find. Great product!!!

I bought this dollhouse for my 2 1/2 year old, but my 1 year old loves it too. They are able to play with it at the same time because of the different rooms in the house. My daughter loves putting the baby in her room and putting daddy and mommy in the kitchen. The toy is every sturdy and very well made.
