My kids absolutely love this doll house and the accessories that go with it, but please BE AWARE that Amazon was selling the Mom & Dad's Room for $29.99!! Now, it's $32.50?! You can get this same item at Walmart and even from Fisher Price's catalog for a mere $7.99. I sincerely believe that it's been mis-priced, and I have contacted Amazon regarding it. Happy playing!

I just purchased the Mom & Dad's and the Living Room from Fisher Price's online website. They were both backordered. It is worth the wait. Each item cost $8.00. I was able to purchase both items including shipping cost for $21. I agree with the other review. If you can wait you can get all the pieces you want for retail price. My almost 3 year old daughter loves playing with her dollhouse. The rooms do seem kind of crampt with the furniture, but it doesn't bother my daughter. She was very excited with furniture arrived in the mail, and she loves playing with the dollhouse.

I agree with others this set is overpriced on Amazon but this little set is great. My little ones love to pretend with this one and the blanket is an added bonus! I also love that the drawer does not come out... which is such a pain with many other toys.

My granddaughter plays with her "First Dollhouse" all of the time! She loves to pretend and even has the daddy wash his hands at the sink=)

Simply adorable! We have purchased a few of the rooms for the dollhouse (baby's room, TV room & now Mom & Dad's Room) and they are all so adorable!

Every piece of this dollhouse is well made, durable and the perfect size for my almost 2 year old girl.

Don't hesitate to buy the dollhouse, and be sure to get this room, too!

Along with the "My First Dollhouse", I purchased this "Mom & Dad's Room" and other room and family member specific sets for my then eighteen month-old granddaughter due to her expecting a new baby sister. She is now about three years old, and is still as delighted with the entire series as much as she was the first day she saw these toys. This set helps to teach children the importance of the role of family, of matching and placing furniture pieces and other parts in appropriate rooms to learn organizational skills, to learn the importance of picking up one's own toys, and more. While it is highly doubtful that she realized just what expecting a new little sister meant, she does enjoy role playing with this toy and will probably learn to share it with her sister in a few months time. The set is very durable, even with active children, and wipes clean with a damp cloth. I like the variety of sets from which to choose to represent household belongings and family members, but would prefer to see the grandmother figure with blond hair like my own, which will never be grey.

If your little girl had the My First Dollhouse, then this is a must for furnishings. The "parents room" is great and my daughter just turned 6, still plays with it and has had the set since she was 3!

The My First Dollhouse Mom and Dad's Room is a great product for toddlers. I have two daughters, 4 and 2, who play with this set almost everyday along with a couple of others I've recently purchased. All the parts are large enough not to swallow, and are cast with quite thick plastic. Additionally, the bed comes with an attached cloth blanket. The bed is large enough for both the Dad and Mom action figures (sold separately). Also, the hutch has a reflective mirror and both drawers open and close. I might add that several non amazon toy sellers are selling these things for over $14.00, which is quite a rip-off, considering the retail price for these. I purchased this through amazon for about $8.00. These may be out of circulation, so perhaps that explains the higher prices. I definitely recommend them, so long as they don't cost a fortune.

I bought this as a x-mas gift for my little girl. I bought the dollhouse from Amazon, but the individual rooms are extremely overpriced here! Same price for one room as for the entire house? Are you kidding?!!

Go to Walmart or Fisher Price website for the accessories.

My daughter loves to play with her dollhouse, and now that she has all the different rooms filled with their furniture, she can really make-believe like crazy! Very sturdy toys that will last a long time.
