I bought the Anne Geddes My First Five Years edition with the baby laying atop a stack of towels for my first child and loved the layout, so when my second child came along I wanted a similar memory book. I found this one via the internet and purchased it thinking it would be very similar but with a different cover. I was disappointed to find the layout very plain and boring compared to all other editions I have seen. It wasn't very colorful and the text was small and plain. This just seemed like more of a advertisement of Anne Geddes photographs than a well put together memory book. Luckily, I was able to find an earlier edition of her book that I liked much better.

I ordered this book for my daughter. I received one with a different cover, which is okay, because the listing does mention that the cover may vary.

There are also a total of 23 full color Anne Geddes photographs, many of which take two pages and 14 pages designated for photographs of your own, conveniently placed next to the pages for birthday parties, first vacation, Christmas, etc.

I give it 4 stars only because I think once you begin to add photos and mememtos, the book will probably not close. I would have preferred it be spiral bound or more loosely bound to allow for the things we parents like to cram in there!

I think this is a lovely book and I am very happy with it. I hope that when my daughter is grown, she will enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed completing it. I will definately recommend this to others and purchase more as we have more children.

The book is really pretty, however the glossy pages are not exactly ideal for the hand and footprints. And ink pens smear a little too. Best to use a permanent fine tip marker. I also wish the pages were a little bigger, so you could tuck full size sheets of paper in between the pages-- momentos & etc.

5 years ago, my husband & I purchased an Anne Geddes First Five Years book to go along with an Anne Geddes pregnancy journal for my first child. I adored the books so much, so I went on a hunt with my newest addition. You can't even imagine my delight when I found that these books are still made! This book is so perfect! The pictures are bold & bright and just remind me constantly of how precious this time really is (using the Anne Geddes baby pictures). The book helps you capture each moment from birth to first Christmas, to close friends to each milestone birthday through 5 (including first school memories!). I am SO excited to continue to record her life accomplishments in this BEAUTIFUL Anne Geddes book!

It's beautiful, it's a must have for your baby, whether girl or boy. The only thing is that I did not receive the same book shown on Amazon, I received a different version, but also beautiful and inspiring.

I bought this book as a gift. I have bought 2 previous Anne Geddes "My First Five Years" and they're just as cute.

I loved this book, it has all of the cute things to remember about your baby's first year with holidays, birthdays, milestones, teeth, height and weight chart and even their shot records. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone having a baby!

Beautiful pictures, well put together. This book is just what I was looking for. I love it!

These books are fantastic for recording all of the milestones of your child. They are beautifully presented and will always be treasured by the children to whom they are eventually given.
