From School Library Journal
PreSchool-- Rightfully spare, this board book introduces very young children to the barest of Halloween traditions: carving jack-o'-lanterns, making black cats, putting on costumes, trick-or-treating, and returning home to a Halloween party. Full-color paintings feature a Caucasian family of six, each child sporting either the mother's straight red hair or the father's curly dark locks; the party guests are multiracial. The book is perfect for toddler story times, and patrons will snap it up. --Jacqueline Elsner, Athens Regional Library, GA
