This book has lots of interesting obscure facts, e.g. the size of the first computer, how ancient gladiators dressed, lizzards with tails that fall off. However, the normal questions that kids ask like "how do airplanes fly?" "why is the sky blue" are NOT in here. Or, if the answers are there, the terrible index won't really tell you where they are. The index often lists incorrect pages or refers to a page that has only marginal relation to the actual word.
