The characters are well developed.
A newcomer to Deep Haven, Caleb Knight moves in next door to Issy and is in a competition between himself and Seb Brewster to see who will be the new football coach.
I am looking forward to reading the previous 2 novels in the Deep Haven series, along with Susan May Warren's other books.
