This book gives a thorough, and easy to understand, explanation of what foster care is. This book is thorough and clear, printed in a black and white coloring book format. The text is wordy, suitable for school-age kids with reasonable attention spans. Hyperactive children or those under about 5 would find it too long.
I was concerned that there is no mention of fathers in the book at all. As such, it reinforces the idea that fathers do not matter,...
