Written in the cadences of older editions of the Book of Common Prayer (there are thees and thous), this compilation can be profitably read by members of any of the great Christian liturgical churches. It will gladden and it will fortify.Milner-White has the ear of a poet, and a soul as generous as that of his most famous student, the late and illustrious Archbishop of Canterbury, Arthur Michael Ramsey.
