5.0 out of 5 stars Well Worth Reading
I found this book to be very well written and illustrated. It gives you a glimpse into the world of those with hearing loss, in this instance a child's daily struggles. It has helped me to better understand the challenges my granddaughter may face and also to ask more questions so I can help her. It is a book that can help open up the lines of communication between...

3.0 out of 5 stars My Hearing Loss and Me - Book Review

The upside to that is that my son, who is getting hearing aids, got to learn more about some of the kids he knows now with cochlear implants. I rated it lower because of the price. I think it cost me around $21 so I was expecting something more than a 8 x 11 paperback book. All in all if I had a child getting cochlear implants I would definately purchase it again.

It has helped me to better understand the challenges my granddaughter may face and also to ask more questions so I can help her. It is a book that can help open up the lines of communication between parent and child. It would also be a perfect book for schools, with mainstream deaf children, to purchase. It would be a very beneficial book for both teachers and pupils to read. I cannot say enough good things about this book......
