Andy (Andranik Madadian)is a California based Iranian Armenian artist. As a correction to some other reviews on this site, most of the lyrics are in Persian (Farsi)language which is a different language to Arabic. There is one Arabic language song on the album, as well as Spanish, Armenian, English and Persian - he is a true international star!

Andy may not have the best voice in the world but it is one which is warm and has his own unique style. He is an excellent and down to earth performer and is a big star in the Iranian communities around the world.
He has released many albums most of which are in Persian including a few English and Armenian language songs here and there. This is his first international album which is quite impressive.

He has also released an all Armenian album featuring other Armenian artists and it is a brilliant. It is called 'Oresro Seero'.

This is a wonderful collection of Arabic fusion. There are verses of some of the songs sung in English which gives the listener some idea of what the Arabic lyrics are about.
Eventhough the CD is clearly Middle Eastern influenced throughout, the music could appeal to anyone interested in World Music.

The insert says that he is the most bootlegged musician in the world, and there is a good reason for this. Andy is a gifted artist. His voice is smooth but raspy and so easy to listen to. He is also diverse, singing in several different languages including English, Persian, Hindi, Arabic, Armenian and Spanish and utilizes music from each of these cultures. His song Pendulum is great, one of his best, but he has so many good songs to choose from. Check out his previous CD's. Please listen to him if you have a chance. You'll be missing out if you don't.

Andy's album And My Heart... is fantastic! This is for the most part Persian. I love how he sings in other languages in some songs. My favorites were Yalla and Kosham Miad.

Great Arabian music along with some other genres. There's a bit of club/rave/electronic/Latin/Rai - lots! I LOVE the songs Pendulum, which is the English version of Chie Begam on the Desert Roses & Arabian Rhythms Album, and the song In My Mind. How have I never heard of him before?!

I don't like Andy's voice or music particularly. This CD is okay but not impressive.
