My 12 year old loved this game, but completed it in a day or two and now says he's done with it. Perhaps it would have a longer life with a younger kid. But he really enjoyed it, and the pleasure per hour per dollar was much better than a movie or a DVD, so I'd still recommended it.

I liked the idea of playing the game of fighting fires. I mean, who didnt want to be a fireman when they were a kid? I got very frustrated withe the tutorial always appearing telling me how to move the stylus to put out the flames. it stops the game and you can not turn it off. you must drive the truck to all of the fires and the truck does not respond very well when you "drive" it. so you continually crash and it slows you down. when you get to the upper levels of the game, it slows you down enough you miss the fire and you must start that level over again.

After playing Firefighter for the Wii, thought this might be along the same type of game. Its good but its for kids. Firefighter for the Wii is awsome, and is pretty real with the fire. I am a Fireman and always looking for games in the Field. Also FD Firefighter 18 for PS2 is awsome...and hard to find. Good price, and great vendor. I must remember DS is mostly for kids.

Challenging and tricky but fun. I keep crashing in back of the vehicles. I'm a firefighter and this makes me look bad.

i got it for me 8 year old. his dad is a fire fighter and wanted to see what his dad due. the game is fun and i don't have to look at blood and guns.
