Another day, another dollar. The streets mourn Ishmael, but life must go on. Leroy "Big Roy" Jenkins is that man. As the man, there's always someone lurking, waiting to take you down. Or in this case, a bunch of someones.

Rick Daniels, lead detective for the precinct, wants to rid the streets of crime and instigators of crime. A trail leads him to Big Roy.

Nettie is ready to set it off and make some money. A trail leads her to Big Roy.

Wild, true to his street moniker, wants to be the next king of Essex County. A trail leads him to Big Roy.

Nate, Dice, Click and Little Cash, former members of Ishmael's crew, want to eat like they were eating when Ishmael was alive. A trail leads them to Big Roy.

Several agendas...one outcome.

Whoever came up with the sophomore jinx hadn't read Endy. Endy returns with a banger. She stepped her pen game up and dare I say, "In My Hood II" is better than its predecessor. More characters, more drama and more HOOD! "In My Hood II" was well worth the wait and well worth the read.

Endy's debut, `In My Hood,' left me wanting more. In the sequel, `In My Hood 2,' Endy passed herself the torch and is off in search of the gold. Despite being a few men down and having a hierarchy that has been holding the reigns for far too long, Nettie, our villainess from part one, is back and more determined to wreak havoc on the streets of Newark . When she's introduced to Wild, the male version of her, the bloodshed will be unmatched and enemies need to beware.

With the prize in sight, the teams' vision is blurred making the "I" instead of "us" more pronounced. With greed running amuck will Nettie finally rule?

I enjoyed the story, the new characters and the action. I could literally see this playing for us on the big screen.

Usually when people write sequels they usually go way off course and readers are left wondering what in the hell were they thinking. Well in the case of Endy Greene's "In My Hood The Saga Continues," I can earnestly say that the saga kept going and going and going...

Notorious Netta is back and more ferocious than we last saw her. Not only is this beauty plotting on becoming the newest H.N.I.C, she's totting a web of lies, secrets and deceits with her. As Netta heads up a squad of thoroughbreds she inducts some of her old nemesis, Ish, team to help her attain her goal. Will decadence, jealousy, love and alliances obscure her passageway?

I loved that while the legend lived on you were able to mourn Ish, Beverly and Desiree, but not be too overwhelmed by it. There are fresh new faces that breaths life into this strong storyline and you witness the continuous growth and very intriguing twists. If you can believe it, in my opinion, the sequel has surpassed the original one.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE THE 1ST BOOK!!! THE SECOND IS AS EQUALLY GOOD,I ANTICIPATED IT TO, AND IT WAS BEYOND MY EXPECTATION!! NETTIE'S ENTIRE FAMILY WAS CURSED,DOOMED JUST PLAIN RIDICULOUS. TO ANYONE BUYING THIS BOOK U MUST GET PART ONE, BECAUSE IT REFERS BACK TO IT A LOT!!! EXCELLENT READ U WON'T BE WASTING UR LOOT!!!!

I am so proud of you. You amazed me w/ the first book and have astounded me w/ this one. I always knew you had it in you to be a great writer. Keep up the good work and keep writing. We all have some type of talent in us and I see you have found yours. Use the gift that God has given you to the fullest. Your are such a giving, compassionate, and kind person know God says it is your turn to receive back since you have given so much of yourself to others. All of his angels are with you in this time, so don't worry about the haters because is they are hating that means you are doing something right. The only time the haters don't hate is when you are doing wrong. Let that be some of your strength to make you strong and stronger with each book you do. Keep it going girl....loved it.

This book dove into personal lives and relationships of the characters of the first book and proved to be a very entertaining read. I was QUITE disappointed at the end, probably because I didn't want it to. Another roller coaster ride! TWO THUMBS UP! What a way to end the saga!!! Patiently waiting for Endy's next work of art....

Just finished reading her explosive first novel, then I jumped right into the follow up "In My Hood 2" just to keep the "Hood" intoxication flowing, and to see if Ms Endy"s sophomore contribution is as hot as it's predecessor "In My Hood".

Feeling like it's time she gets paid but the only way to the riches is to become the big dog on the streets; Nettie assembles Ismael's old crew along with her own comrades and hatches a plan to bring down the current king of the streets Leroy (Big Roy) Jenkins. Nettie is not alone in her greed...sneaky murderer/robber Wild is also looking for Leroy head!

This is a wild and deadly ride through the hood. Murder, betrayal, a major twist and awesome characters make this book a memorable one!!

I thought the first one was good, but man did she blow the first one out of the water with the second one. Endy is an author that is on the rise, I can see with each book she is gonna come better and harder with whatever she writes. This book was great!!!!

IN MY HOOD 2 was a GREAT SEQUEL. I truly ENJOYED and just LOVED it. Was very FAST-PACED & ACTION PACKED, with lots of HOOD DRAMA. Could'nt get enough, stayed up half the night to finish. Can't wait to get started reading IN MY HOOD 3. IN MY HOOD 2 IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!! GREAT GREAT GREAT JOB ENDY...................................

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a female gangsta book. It reminded me of the movie, "Set It Off". It had a lot of action and was very entertainging. It kept you guessing until the end.
