I am really rather surprised that this has not had any reviews. This is Charice's second album released in the Philippines and compared to the first; this album is a first class production. I am old enough to remember the release of the original versions of most of the songs on this album and they just happened to be favorites of mine from past times.

Each song has Charice singing in one of her many capable voices, which has allowed her to imitate other performers so well, but they are original arrangements and except for maybe Mariah Carey's "I'll Be There", she make no attempt to mimic the original performers, but still manages to show you how versatile her voice is by sounding like a different person in each song.

If you are already a fan of Charice, it would be a crying shame to miss out on this album. If you are new to Charice, then treat yourself to an album you just can't go wrong with. I listen to it daily and never seem to tire of it, which I can't seem to say about any other album I own. Charice is a star who has risen and shall one day burn more brightly. Who knows, maybe it will become a collectors item.

"My Inspiration" is certified GOLD in The Philippines and probably is Platinum by now. It was produced & released by Star Records, the largest record producer in The Philippines. While it not a World class David Foster produced album it does have excellent production values, allowing Charice's extraordinary "tugs at your heart-strings" voice to shine. The first single from the album, "Always You" was a BiG hit here. All ten songs (plus 2 re-mixes) are wonderful. You will find yourself crying (Mama) one minute and emboldened to take on the World the next. The album is a two disk set. The second disk is the background music only for all the aspiring singers out there.

Charice is the "real deal" and this is her first full album. An earlier mini-album named simply "Charice" is also available here on Amazon.

Charice's latest release is also inspirational. If you haven't already, go download "A Note to God" right here on Amazon. It is the first single off her new album to be released February 2010. This is the fabulous song written by the legendary Diane Warren and produced by David Foster himself. Its debut on the Oprah Whinfrey show was breathtaking. It is a great prayer to listen to every day!! "A Note to God" belongs on every MP3 player in the World.

Thanks Amazon for making this Philippines produced album easily available. After hearing Charice on David Foster's Hitman: David Foster and Friends DVD/CD set I have searched for information on this phenomenally talented singer / actress. She stared in a documentary titled "Ice Cream" and was just amazing. Her YouTube videos have close to 20 million hits in total and she is loved, yes, "loved" the World over. What a life story this extraordinarily talented young woman has. No wonder she puts so much feeling in her songs. Her duet with Celine Dion at Madison Square Garden made me cry and that rarely happens.

I am a very happy owner of this "My Inspiration" album as well as her first album "Charice" and her "Note to God" single. I'm checking into several other CDs where she has at least one song or duet included. Her duet with David Archuleta on his Christmas album "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" is delightful so it is next on my list.

Her voice has that special x-factor that cannot be explained. It "touches" the listener.

Always You is written for Charice and dedicated this for her mother who serve as her inspiration. Her soothing voice fit this song which became a big hit.Her cover for the other songs in the album are one-of-a-kind rendition and sang them as her own - from her heart.

This is a better CD than the last one she made...very recommendable! I'll be looking forward for his first international release CD. I could listen to her voice all day and never get tired...I'm a CD collector and I set a side her CD's along with Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston,and The Beatles for easy access.

I bought this album about three weeks ago and I listen to it everyday since then. I listen to it in my car, office and home. Every song is worth listening. She sings each song with all her heart and feelings. I was not dissappointed in investing my hard earned money on this CD. I have been a fan of Charice ever since I saw her "Star King" peformance. My hubby said, I am getting crazy by not getting enough sleep by watching her you tube videos every night and checking the latest news about Charice. I also bought the 'David Foster and Friends" and downloaded the "Note To GOD" from ITune. I can't wait to see her new album with David Foster. Good Luck Charice!

Charice is amazing for such a young singer. Her strong voice for such a small person is unbelievable.

mesmerizing renditions of songs from an extraordinaire voice, worth more than the dollars spent, the best music to listen to after tiring hard days of work, the most soothing voice from a person who is truly an inspiration to all

disappointed in this particular recording of hers. Does not reflect her talents -- to much and loud instrumental back up.

I bought this album out of curiosity, and I am glad I did. The singer is very good, almost inspirational. The more I play it, the better it gets. Excellent album.
