GREAT 'The Bends'-era b-sides finally released on vinyl,
By
This review is from: My Iron Lung (VINYL) (Vinyl)
Three fantastic The Bends-era b-sides, plus "My Iron Lung", the band's follow-up single to "Creep." This is when you knew Radiohead was on to something... which they proved beyond any shadow of a doubt with OK Computer a few years later. The other reviewer should have done his research. This isn't "incomplete." "My Iron Lung", like most of the band's singles, were released in two versions on CD, a 'CD1' version and a 'CD2' version, with different b-sides and live versions on each. The two single discs were combined into a "My Iron Lung" EP released between The Bends and OK Computer, but these recent Capitol re-releases only include the 'CD1' versions of the singles (on 180G 12" vinyl).

This is a single, not an EP,

BE WARNED! This is *NOT* the full "My Iron Lung EP", which is supposed to have 8 tracks - this is more like a single (4 tracks), similar to the other "Capitol Vault" releases with the same style packaging (brown sleeve with small square sticker). It does *NOT* include the acoustic version of "Creep", nor does it include "Lewis (Mistreated)", "Permanent Daylight", or "You Never Wash Up After Yourself"If you're expecting the full EP, do not buy this, as it only has half the tracks. That said, if you're a fan of "The Bends", the content of this single is more of the same style, and you'll enjoy it. My favorite is definitely "The Trickster", which I was relieved to find was included on this release.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This record seemed like a good deal, as My Iron Lung is Radiohead's best EP. However, the record only has 4 songs, compared to the 8 on the CD version of the EP. No Permanent Daylight (one of my favorites) or accoustic version of Creep, along with 2 other missing songs.

12" 45 rpm,
This review is from: My Iron Lung (VINYL) (Vinyl)
just FYI this vinyl is 12" 45 rpm. I love radiohead but wasn't impressed by this album. If you have the bends and pablo honey then don't bother getting this album.
