This order was a mistake, so I can't give a fair review of this CD. When I ordered this, I thought I was ordering a CD by a group called "CROW" that had a hit album in the early 70's titled "CROW BY CROW", I used to have the vinyl, it was a very good LP featuring their hit song "EVIL WOMAN". That album is unavailible, with collector copies being too expensive for my budget. I saw "MY KIND OF PAIN" by this band named "CROW" on AMAZON.COM and without hesitation ordered it, thinking "Oh boy", a second album. On arrival, and listening to the CD, my disappointment overshadowed my patience, to listen to this rip-off of the original band. Isn't there a law that prevents this from happening? I could sell a lot of records if I called my band "The Beatles", but there would be a lot of angry buyers wanting their money back, and my blood.
The listen I did give to this CD was not enough to give it a fair review. The music was just not my cup of tea. I am not saying it is bad, just not what I would choose to listen to. Maybe down the road I will listen again, right now, I feel too ripped off to give it a proper listening. It's hard to describe my disappointment, as I was really looking forward to hearing more tunes from the original band "CROW". By giving it 3 stars, I am not trying to give the band a bad rating, but I honestly can't give them a good rating at this time.
As I bought this used, it would be more trouble than it's worth to send it back for credit. So I'll Keep it and maybe someday give it one more listen. The one good lesson learned here is to try and be sure that "what you order is what you want", that way your not writing reviews of products you did not really want in the first place.
