A cynical Mistress, and no maids,

My Ladys Pleasure is the first in an all-girl sequel of tree books with dominant Claudia Dungarrow as our hero. Claudia uses her position and her dominant personality to subdue and mentally enslave the pupils in her victorian boarding scool, with blond Elisabeth Stanbridge as her prime target.The book is fairly well written, in a mild classical style, and the story is seen from Claudias position. We move with her as she seeks out her targets, strikes, and then settles to enjoy the fruits of her conquests. The plot is quite exciting, although totally unrealistic, as is Claudias cynical nature, which is focused only on her conquests, no matter the consequenses for herself or her victimes. She even manages to get a princess at her service! Without telling too much, there is no surprice that the first book ends the way it does.
