I loved this book. I thought it was hilarious and engaging. I've read quite a few unfavorable reviews for 'My Legendary Girlfriend' but I honestly don't get why. Yes, the main character is a bit of a whiner but he's endearingly so. He's like that sad cousin(or friend) that just can't quite seem to get his life together and continues to make stupid mistakes that you somehow find a way to love anyway.

I definitely recommend this novel. It cracked me up and maybe it will make you laugh too.

Like it says on the front of the book, this is for those of you who have ever dumped, been dumped or prehaps lived in a dump (guess that counts us all in). This is a fantastic book that's full of laughs, a bit of lust, and bursting with love. Not only is it a hilarious read, but it's deep and meaningful as well, and you'll definitely be moved by it if you've ever loved, and if not, you'll still love it just because it reads so well.

Being a bestseller doesn't always mean that a book is actually a good book, it just means that a lot of people bought it (a lot of people bought .....'s biography and that was absolute crap), but this is just a work of art. Mike Gayle once again so accurately captures life, love and relationships at their best (even when they are at their worst)with this smasher which by far out did his previous book dinner for two.

That makes 'my legendary girlfriend' the ultimate read (because 'Dinner for two' is hard to beat). It's a side splitting, tear jerking rollercoaster ride of emotion that leaves you scarily aware of just how precious people and love are (because lets face it we take our loved ones for granted) and by the end you'll either be crying, full of warmth or just so emotionally aware you wont know what to do with yourself...or all of the above.

Finally, It's a must read so buy it now....oh but I'm sure you gathered that much already.
