My Life as A Baby: A First Year Calendar (Organizer)

I loved this calendar! I had it for my second daughter- because I had one for my oldest and loved the concept. I referred to the old one a lot when my 2nd was a baby- when we were trying to remember when her big sister did different things, or when we started certain foods. I liked this one even better than the first, mostly because it was so customizable. I love that it includes a picture of her each month and that you can fill in fun things they are doing on the top part, rather than just having a picture to look at. It is something I know we will love having when she is older (especially since we have already enjoyed the one we have for our older daughter).

I had this calendar with my son and loved it. The stickers made it real easy and convenient to keep track of milestones and I found it so convenient to jot little notes for each day. If you are like me (not crafty), this will be your keepsake forever; but if you are crafty you can always translate this info into a bona fide baby book. I find those things so overwhelming, but this was super easy and great. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the one I had for my son was a little one (about 7 inches square or so) and this one is full size. Be aware of the size. I wish they still made the little one.

I have a "baby's first year calendar" with my first child and LOVED it but did not want to use the same calendar with my second so this looked great.
It is nice but not much space to write whats happening each month. Super basic and I did not really like the stickers it came with. It has 36 sticker and they are not all that cute. I was a little dissapointed, maybe because I like the first calendar SO much.
The other one was called "Baby's First Year Sticker Calendar" It has more space to write but not as much space for pictures (I just used little wallet pics and was able to get more on there. The "My life" calendar has much better space for pics (you could probably get 2-4 4x6 pics vs only wallet).
"Baby's first year" has 252 stickers and most of them are cute (vs only 36).
Both calendars ask the same questions each month, but again the "baby's firt year" has a lot more space to answer.
"my life" colors are a little "bright" lots of yellow, purple, green and pinks. More stars, dots, hearts and flowers. Still could be used for boy or girl.
"baby's first year" has more forest creatures and trees and does have some faries, but I still was able to use it for a boy (does not look "girly")

Overall "My Life" calendar is nice but again basic. I will be returning this one and getting the "baby's first year" for my second child.

Illustrations are cute, calendar is customizeable, this is an easy to-keep-up with system. Plus, the photo spaces make it really fun. A picture really is worth a thousand words. I plan on ordering another one for baby #5... even a busy mom can keep up with this one!

My daughter-in-law loved this calendar. It allows her to quickly jot things that happen each day without having to get out the baby book each time.

I came across my calendar from my 29 year of daughters 1st year and it brought tears to my eyes and I decided to purchase one for my daughter to use with my new grandaughter. The calendar is a definite treasure to give as a gift to new parents so they'll have the memories of the little things. A wonderful gift.

I love this calendar. I have 3 children and this is the one I purchased for my newest addition. It is very "fun". The picture and captions are bright. There is the perfect amount of space to include of my daughter's memorable moments. I love that it includes a spot for pictures, so we can flip through and see how much she has changed in the last year. It was very reasonably priced too. I have seen many calendars, not nearly as colorful or big for way more money.

I LOVE this calender! It is so easy to mark all my son's special events w/o having to get out a book or get creative or say I will do it but never get around to it.

This calendar makes it so easy to record every little detail without making it feel like a chore. I bought this book for my second daughter, and I wish I'd had it for my first. This is my "go-to" baby shower gift because EVERY new mom needs one.
