One of my favorite Elvis books,

Shortly after Elvis died, Becky Yancey did a book signing at a local mall and I was fortunate to get an autographed copy of this book. It's a very interesting read and I've gone back to it many times down thru the years. It would be great if she could write another book on Elvis. I'm sure there are many more stories to be told of her time spent with him.

Confusing, but good nevertheless,

My sister also got a signed copy of Ms.Yancey's book at a book signing in l978. I just found it, though, along with some LP's and Ed Parker's book.
Her story does jump around a bit, but it is nice to read about Elvis written by someone who didn't seem to have an agenda or a grudge. She just wanted to tell about her experiences. I would recommend it.

this book skips around from year to year too much. it does have a lot of stories that I had never read before. but the book gives you little bits of one story in the 70's then goes back to the 60's then back again to the 70's etc. it is not a bad read just not what I expected when I started it. but if you are an Elvis fan it will keep your intrest.
