A Stylized Status update August 18, 2010
By Scott
This is a fun and witty daily capture of the author's everyday life. We can all relate to the daily goings on in life, each with our own story to tell. "My life in Scribbles" is like reading Brasseas 'daily status updates' stylized in a journal comic format.

Its a shame that such a critcal, undeserved and poorly written review of this book was given. It really deserves more than just a single star. The nature of the work, (accuratly described by its very title), is a fun, witty, and a delightful read. It gives you a chance to walk alongside the Scribbles cast as though you were friends spending time with them each day.

Priviledged Access August 18, 2010
"My Life in Scribbles vol.1" reached me personally with its overall intimate tone. I felt like I had privileged access to the life of the artist. It was like being granted a peek into a window of another person's world, their point of view, life experience and personality.

i've read numerous journal comics, but my life in scribbles really captures the immediacy of the moment in a way only paralleled by the creator of the medium, james kochalka. i'm proud to have this in my collection.
