David McPhail captures the very essence of little brotherhood - from big brother's point of view. The little guy is your trusted comrade in pranks and adventures. He's your valuable helper and an always willing sidekick. But he can also be a prankster all on his own, making big brother the target. And he sometimes excels at being a downright pain-in-the-neck. The beautiful illustrations give life to the words, forming a wonderfully warm and amusing tale about the patience, sharing and love that are the heart of brotherhood.
